I have a 8567 Grabber which is essentially the same as the 9000 but without the auto-indexing feature. A couple of observations that may help you or other watchers of the video.
I wax the primer tray with a hard automotive paste wax every few hundred rounds to help the primers slide in the tray. I imagine any wax would do as well. I use a pair of tweezers to retrieve the primers that don't drop properly rather than my fingers. I have fat fingers so getting between the hulls can be a problem. I position my stool slightly to the left of the machine so I get a better view of the primers. You are asolutley correct, you must be sure a primer is correctly positioned in the shell holder each time you pull the handle!
Although good machines, my biggest complaint is that there is too much clearance between the top plate and the center post. If the operator applies any side thrust to handle when pulling it down, it moves the primer drop tube to one side or the other causing the primer to not drop in the hole in the shell holder. This makes making any adjustments to the primer drop tube difficult to set. One must ensure to pull the handle straight down. I don't know if there is any fix for this. I would imagine the hydraulic or electric options would eliminate much of this but at great $$.
Anyway, just some of my experiences I've had. Good video! Thanks for posting and sharing.

I may have to try the wax. It sure makes a mess when a primer is missed! Doesn’t happen much. I adjusted the primer drop tube and they drop in much better now.

FWIW, I prefer a paste wax to a liquid wax. A couple of light coats should do it. Good luck!@@Duckslayer1096

Did some loading with the 9000 and tried the wax. Worked great. Primers and primer arm slid so much smoother! Thanks for the suggestion.

I like it. Yeah drop the primer tube down further and they won’t bounce out.

Please tell me it drops powder on the up stroke and not on the down during priming.

Yes re-primes on the down stroke and drops the powder on the up stroke.
