Super interview. Could not stop listening. I do not think anyone can come close to Nemelka's results in one loft racing with only a small entry in each race. Breeding from a handful of pigeons and laying down major success year after year is incredible. Look forward to spending some time together soon, hopefully Florida. Great insight and sound advice. I may rethink entering close bred birds to One Loft Races. Hope Joe's amazing run continues. Keep the interviews coming!
Outstanding interview! Very humble for a man who has had great success in this sport. I admire his willingness to help in anyway that he can to support pigeon racing. Thanks Joe!
Awesome interview Jeff! And thanks Joe for all the great info and a look into your history with the birds.. I especially loved your purple countermark story from back in the day. Gotta love those old capsule, crank clock racing days.. That was awesome! Gonna be fun competing against you at the Martinez Classic in a few months.. Good luck my friend, but not too much luck! 🙂
Excellent interview. Jeff you are so good at hitting the right questions. Joe, well your results say everything and you’re very generous to this sport. Thank you both!!! These interviews get the blood pumping for sure!! 🏆
Another good one Jeff. One thought, upload audio to podcast sites. I like to listen while working on or cleaning loft. I know, probably easier said than done. Keep up good work!
This was a great interview. I think his emphasis on goal setting may be the best takeaway. Most breeders don't seem to consider it and just say "I'd like to do well" instead of really defining what they hope to accomplish. It's difficult to be successful if you don't define what success means to you.
If 3 pigeons come home together from a 350 mile one loft race they are considered a drop and split the top 3 prize money. Trapping order doesn’t influence the prize money.

Jeff i really liked ulrich lemmons idea of olr races with 3 long dostance races. Would you be able to ask that question to these guys as the come on?
You should try to interview Andreas Drapa from Germany and Jacob Poortvliet from the Netherlands. I believe both do speak English.
When is ganus coming on jeff??
RE: Canker tabs from JEDDS

Newbie question: at 1:13:22 ... what does "1st drop payment" mean?
