Growing up in central Florida I watched N*Sync and BSB get big. They would play shows in Orlando all the time in the summer. Brings back so many memories. I got meet N*Sync at an old Walmart in Orlando when their album came out. They did a meet and greet. Kinda crazy they did that at Walmart of all places, even back then.
Nothing like hearing pop princess, most iconic star of the late 90’s-early 2000’s, natural voice ❤ the impact she had on me to love singing the way that I do is still to this day! Plus that charisma. 🌸 I may have stopped listening to everyyyy song after her 3rd album but once I heard my girl was in trouble over a decade ago - the Britney fan in me came alive again. And as we grew up, so did she & her music! I love all her latest hits. Crazy the impact she has on her loyal fans 🌸

Man why can't the music industry just be like this now. Music sounded so much better back then and I loved MTV and all these live shows. It was so much fun to just turn on MTV and just jam out.
Happy to be a teenager during this period of time. Looking back things seemed so much simpler and happier! Now I have a young daughter and I wish for nothing but a similar happy childhood for her too.
This is like a time machine. Back to a place where things were so much better and simpler. Most of us teens during that time are now parents ourselves! I just wish for nothing but our children to live in such happy times, not this complicated mess we see nowadays.

The level of innocence in society was so amazing, made life so much simpler and peaceful. Nothing was "trending" weekly with everyone trying to get validation from the internet. No one was focused on wearing over priced stuff. Just so much more meaningful enjoyment in life.
I am always so amazed to see people trying to argue how a given time was: Simpler, better, more real, more talented and what not. Can we please just put it to rest and agree that all grownups will argue for their particular time of youth being the "Special, real, best one", instead of trying to make it sound like it is more than a psychological phenomenon? Fact is, it is/were not. The music was NOT better. People were NOT happier. And there was NOT less violence in the world. Our youth was something special. We experienced a lot of stuff for the first time. That makes us treasure those times in a special way. And remember these "perfect times" made Britney have a break down. I guess she just missed how very nice everything was?.

SUPER jealous! I watched the live DVD of it as a kid and wished I was there. I watched it over again years later and it was so nostalgic. I have "space cowboy" playing in my head right now lol. I got to see Justin Live during the Justified tour though which was amazing.

Cece Gee Basically when Britney first came out she sounded similar to Tony Braxton and Christina who was coming up behind her. To make Britney stand out and sound unique a producer called Max Martin told Britney to sing in a high Baby voice by pushing down on her larynx, a very unstable vocal technique which is easier to do standing still in a studio, however when Britney has to move even a little bit (let alone her heavy dance numbers) her voice shakes and cracks, hence Britney lip syncs a lot while dancing. Early in her career during her first album (this video is promoting her first album) Britney could keep up with a live vocal because her first album ‘Baby one more time’, the baby voice wasn’t used heavy, in fact the track ‘Baby one more time’ fits right near Britney natural range, that’s why she sounds good singing it live. Then Britney’s second album ‘Oops’ happened and the producers made Britney sing even HIGHER, Britney also started dancing a lot more and lip syncing a lot more. Basically Britney struggled to do the baby voice live and dance at the same time, that’s why she sounds deeper than the track when she does sing live 😊✌️

Man why can't the music industry just be like this now. Music sounded so much better back then and I loved MTV and all these live shows. It was so much fun to just turn on MTV and just jam out.

Happy to be a teenager during this period of time. Looking back things seemed so much simpler and happier! Now I have a young daughter and I wish for nothing but a similar happy childhood for her too.

The level of innocence in society was so amazing, made life so much simpler and peaceful. Nothing was "trending" weekly with everyone trying to get validation from the internet. No one was focused on wearing over priced stuff. Just so much more meaningful enjoyment in life.
I am always so amazed to see people trying to argue how a given time was: Simpler, better, more real, more talented and what not. Can we please just put it to rest and agree that all grownups will argue for their particular time of youth being the "Special, real, best one", instead of trying to make it sound like it is more than a psychological phenomenon? Fact is, it is/were not. The music was NOT better. People were NOT happier. And there was NOT less violence in the world. Our youth was something special. We experienced a lot of stuff for the first time. That makes us treasure those times in a special way. And remember these "perfect times" made Britney have a break down. I guess she just missed how very nice everything was?.

SUPER jealous! I watched the live DVD of it as a kid and wished I was there. I watched it over again years later and it was so nostalgic. I have "space cowboy" playing in my head right now lol. I got to see Justin Live during the Justified tour though which was amazing.

Cece Gee Basically when Britney first came out she sounded similar to Tony Braxton and Christina who was coming up behind her. To make Britney stand out and sound unique a producer called Max Martin told Britney to sing in a high Baby voice by pushing down on her larynx, a very unstable vocal technique which is easier to do standing still in a studio, however when Britney has to move even a little bit (let alone her heavy dance numbers) her voice shakes and cracks, hence Britney lip syncs a lot while dancing. Early in her career during her first album (this video is promoting her first album) Britney could keep up with a live vocal because her first album ‘Baby one more time’, the baby voice wasn’t used heavy, in fact the track ‘Baby one more time’ fits right near Britney natural range, that’s why she sounds good singing it live.
Then Britney’s second album ‘Oops’ happened and the producers made Britney sing even HIGHER, Britney also started dancing a lot more and lip syncing a lot more.
Basically Britney struggled to do the baby voice live and dance at the same time, that’s why she sounds deeper than the track when she does sing live 😊✌️
