Wonderful video of probably my favourite type of koi ❤ Shinoda is the master of the hi utsuri - I loved the fact he introduced magoi genetics to increase size and improve the sumi .....it worked !!

I know constant feeding and maintaining a high water temperature is the key to grow kois, but, in many ponds it's not possible mainly due to the cost of heating the water!

Many people will disagree with me. However I really like Hi Utsuri and would rather have at least Two over Showa, yet do not get me wrong. You do see some very beautiful Showa, but the Hi Utsuri is simply an amazing Koi in my personal opinion. 👍🏼🙂👍🏼❤️

The PH here in the UK is higher then in Japan 🇯🇵 and that’s good for the black color on the Koi
