The 2000s era rb was the best
5:57 Bro Bowls?
great presentation
As a nearly life long chargers fan ..thank you LT ..seriously thank you ...the memories were amazing and aside from a super bowl ring you absolutely balled out and made up for no rings id trade a ring for the memories he left us
If nothing else, I appreciate the good quality of discussion created from the video.
Love the video. Subscribed.
Steven Jackson Eldogg 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
To be fair guice off the field antics were the reason he got the boot but bro was going to be a dawg too
WHERE IS REGGIE BUSH!!!!
Fun fact: frank gore retired in 2023 and his son, frank gore jr. was picked up via free agency in 2024, meaning they couldve played on the same team
This ain’t nothing but “Clickbait” content 😂 Le’Veon went in the 2nd round, 48th pick. 3 pro bowls, 2 all pro selections, & you got em on your thumbnail as a “bust” 😭
A lot of these backs careers were messed up by injuries. Barry left cause he was sick of losing and body was broken. 15000 yards in 10 years is insane
15:50 what? CMC top 3 of all time? He’s not even top 5 on THIS list. Come on.
Yea he’s great but top 3 he’ll no
Not top 10
Barry Sanders didn't retire because of injuries, he retire because of being in a lose franchise
Yeah this guy doesn't fact check very well.
I'm sure he injured his back carrying an entire franchise for a decade
I almost stopped the video...and the CMC comment...WTF
@@willdathrill713Yeah that CMC ranking part was ridiculous lol
Yeah, his injury was ..... EMOTIONAL DAMAGE!
j/k
The running back busts really drive home the adage that the best ability is availability.
Willis mcgahee was also portis' backup at Miami
I love CMC, but calling him Top 3 of all time is WILD!!!!! Like really really WILD!!!
fr
I almost had to turn the video off after he said that
@@Boosh33 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Yeah That's reaching just a bit.
You forgot that 2020 and 2021 he was injured and did little
Doug Martin w/ one of greatest nicknames ever….The Muscle Hampster
Do defensive ends
@@dionysus1992 hmmmm are there enough good ones though from each year? Or nah?
Awesome video I'm glad I got to see LaDainian Tomlinson that 2006 season that he had was insane I got into football at the right time and I'll never forget when he broke the record against Denver in Qualcomm 👍
Well, Ron Dean was drafted to a team that really didn’t even need a running back
12:22 Bell was selected 48 overall not 14
Gosh I loved watching Ron Dayne in college
Portis, Mcgahee, and Gore were all on the same Miami Hurricanes team at one point. Most talented RB stable in college history.
That era of Miami Hurricanes was wild... Every position aside from QB was absolutely stacked.
Gore was the best of the 3. What could have been if he didn’t tear his ACL 2 consecutive years while at the U.
Leveon Bell was not the 14th overall pick. He was the 48th overall pick taken in the second round.
I mixed up my words in the vid lol
I was in basic training when I learned the Chargers drafted LT and Brees in the same draft. I couldn't believe after years of absolute JUNK at the QB position the Chargers were able to pull that off in the draft and it made me excited for the future. Of course the Chargers managed to screw that up but the LT era was a fun time to be a Chargers fan.
Kinda sad those guys bump so much, collecting hits after hit, being past prime at 27-28 and being paid so little compared to the amount of HP they lose on field
Can you imagine if Steven Jackson had a decent O line for even half his career?
You really think CMC is top 3 ALL TIME?! Loved the video btw
Not showing DAngelo Williams panthers is criminal
U forgot 2 1st busts 2009 Donald Brown with the colts and Knowshon Moreno Broncos same draft as Beanie wells and I agree with Shaun Alexander 2000 draft he was excellent RB very underrated
Omg you needed to do some research. This HAD the potential to be legendary
Lev bell didn’t start the dual threat at RB. Far from it. Especially since 2 RBs had 1k&1k also LT was a better dual threat and he came in 2001
A third round pick can’t really be a monumental disappointment. 🤦🏻♂️
mark ingram has nearly 900+ more rushing yards and 16 more rushing TDs than Murray and had greater longevity.
In 2008 I would have put Matt Forte as the best back out of the draft, not Chris Johnson
As a raiders fan Darren McFadden
Shaun Alexander gets no respect . 100 career rushing touchdowns and the MVP in 2005. For a 4 year period he was one of the best.
I absolutely agree. In my opinion, he was best running back in the 2000 draft.
Reggie bush wasn’t mentioned either. A RB taken that high should’ve been mentioned either way
I thought the same thing.
As a niner fan I can confirm
True or Joseph Addai and he won the superbowl his rookie season 👍@@Noobiie23
Cadillac Williams was picked right after Cedric Benson and Ced had about 2000 more rush yards
Frank Gore in the 2005 NFL Draft selected into the 3rd Round by the 49ers definitely didn't disappoint right from the start and he never looked back! 5:30
He actually was injured right from the start and it was unclear if he would ever even play!
Trent Richardson was the man in college and just fell flat in the pros
Wait … understand Leveon bell was a best and I understand his whole receiving element he possessed …but you can’t say he started to revolutionize it without talking bout Matt forte … forte walked so bell could run and he was more consistent
a few of these picks/so called bust need more context. example montee ball had a really bad alcohol problem since he was a junior in college
David Johnson comes to mind for me. Sadly disappeared as fast as he arrived. Deserves a mention, anyway.
It’s indicative just how tough it is to carve out a career as a RB with any sort of longevity, especially in today’s pass-centric game.
A lot of these guys were just born in the wrong era of football.
@15:48 excuse me what?
Bro you didn’t even mention Melvin Gordon 🤯
Big Ben, Bell and Brown so much talent but so much dysfunction.
Bell was a 2nd round pick.
I loved playing as the Vikings in 2k5. Michael Bennett was a beast 😂
Always used him in Madden because his speed was crazy.
Fun fact LT ran for more touchdowns than his qb threw for that year by 6… his qb was Phillip rivers😂😂
Cause he didn't have to throw the ball that many times it would be easier to hand it off to LaDainian especially when he had a season like that don't you think 😂😂😂😂 if he ran for 3 or 4 touchdowns in a game as he did in many of them Rivers didn't have to throw that many touchdowns to win makes sense😂🤣🤣 ?
Tyler Algieer had a better rookie season than Bijan Robinson and was better at holding onto the ball. He should have been on the list for best picks.
Ap is the 2nd best running back of all time behind barry sanders imo
It wasn’t injuries for Monte Ball. It was his alcohol abuse that resulted in him burning out quick.
What about Chubb’s Hubbard man he should have got a mention
He’ll naw lol
CMC is really good. Really Really good. But calling him a top 3 running back of all time already is an insane thing to say. Jim Brown just rolled over in his grave.
In 08 the biggest was bust was Felix Jones man lol
Blount was actually OP
No mention of Ray Rice!
LeGarrette Blount was meant to be a high pick before he sucker punched a fan. He wasnt some rando undrafted guy.
Man, I didn't know that DeAngelo Williams had been in the league since '06 when the Steelers had him in 2015-16.
CMC is the goat running back🔥🔥🔥
It’s crazy how good that 2017 RB class is
No mention of Tyler Allgeir? 5th round pick broke 1000 yards as a rookie
Darren Sproles should be up there
The fact that Chauncey Washington was drafted in 08 an was on 5 teams an only had 8 rushing yards total in his career it's impossible that dmac was the worst back that year
I would definitely say that Rashard Mendenhall or Felix Jones were worse than DMac.
LeVeon Bell wasn’t a bust he just flamed out quick once he left the Steelers.
I like CMC but if barry finish his career, he would of put that record away for good.
Michael Bennett stretched out a nice 10yr career though bum or not he played way longer than most
Great video. Another video like this on QB or WR would be awesome!
Cedrick benson was not a MAJOR bust lol that’s wild … he didn’t live up to the 4th pick but he def wasn’t a major bust
Im surprised you didnt call frank gore a 1st overall pick with his resume
Helaire was replaced by Pacheco in his second season.
CmC top 3 bro come on man😮
Great video, but Barry Sanders didn’t retire early due to injuries.
Clyde Edwards Helaire was replaced by Isaiah Pacheco, not Jerrick McKinnon
Too bad Devanta couldn't block 😡😡😡
can we really say Jahvid Best is a bust????..... i recall it was the injury that did him in....
Facts when healthy he was nice I wouldn’t call that a bust
Concussions, actually.
2016 should have been Elliot
cmc top 3 running backs of all time you was reaching on that one... i can name three guys off this list you just showed thats better.....L.T. , derrick henry, frank gore.....
How you didn’t mention the best one? Peterson
CMC is great. Top 3? Hell naw! Because the common top five consists of names like Brown, Sanders, Payton, Emmitt and LT. So who is getting booted to make room for CMC?
Rip Cedric Benson
Leveon was a 2nd round pick
David Montgomery.
R.I.P Cedric Benson
Calling bell a bust is insane
Nice video, nice kitchen brobro.
Crazy that Bell is considered a bust
Using the logic and stats you did from this video…CMC averages about 770 yards a season. He scores 2 rushing touchdowns or less in a season about 40% of the time. But yeah dude, top 3 for sure
Barry sanders didn’t retire because of injuries!
Yeah this guy doesn't fact check very well.
sanders wanted a trade out of detroit, the rumor was him going to miami, but the lions owner wouldnt allow it...
you for got Jamaal Charles he was awesome for the chiefs
Aye this is Steelers fan chime’n in.. Levon and bust doesn’t belong togethet
Entertaining...but where is the mention of Arian Foster? Not even drafted but destroyed the league for years.
Exactly... the vid went over people drafted
@@KrichProductionsyou mentioned Blount and said he was undrafted though.
Jim Brown, Gayle Sayers, Emmit Smith, Barry Sanders, Walter Payton, LaDanian Tomlison, Earl Campbell, OJ Simpson, and Andrian Peterson are all better than McCaffrey.
Bro leveon bell was a 2nd round pick 48th overall where tf did you get 14th????
I believe DeCastro was the first round pick that year for the Steelers.
And Lbell wasn't a bust what'cha talking bout!!!
@@denisfolcik1373Jarvis Jones
@@vinceborens3254what did he do after the Steelers ?
@@antoniogonzalezjr6574 absolutely nothing! What does that have to do with what I said? Bell was a elite running back at the Steelers! He lost his passion for the game, And got greedy. but his vision and patience was unmatched at the Steelers!!
Matt Forte was the best RB picked in 2008 look at stats compared to Chris Johnson…
LaDainian Tomlinson is a awesome player from his time in the NFL the former TCU Horn-Frogs Alumni was incredible a lightning in a bottle a 1st Round 5th overall pick in the 2001 NFL Draft by the Chargers he definitely didn't disappoint one of his greatest year was 2006 28 Touchdowns in one season on the ground and 31 Touchdowns in total both still remains NFL Records winning the NFL MVP Award no matter what he truly is a Hall Of Famer but it's a shame that he didn't win a Super Bowl Ring because in 2010 AFC Championship game is the only time he came so close to going to the big game but that's not his fault at all but one way or another he was the man LT LT LT LT LT LT LT LT 1:40
dont do jahvid best like that, he was electric when healthy. Retired due to concussions
The play at cal was crazy
Clinton Portis was the 2nd Round Draft Pick a 2001 National Champ with the University of Miami Hurricanes and 2002 NFL Draft Denver Broncos took Portis he really was a good but not great RB to ever play in the NFL but I wish that he would be rewarded at the very least one Super Bowl Championship Ring! 3:08
Kinda wild calling 3rd and 4th round picks "bust".
They never had high expectations to begin with. 3rd/4th running backs aren't expected to carry a franchise.
Michael Bennet wasn’t a great first round pick but definitely far from the worst hack drafted in 01.
