Why the videos created by you had lower quality than the videos created by ITTF itself? Will we have at least 1080P/ 60FPS videos in the future?

they are both on a higher level, but training together also contributes to the exciting points, that dynamic on the bh to bh points where they trade till someone decides to switch comes from knowing eachother so much

I actually cried watching this match live. I have watched Ma Long's games for approximately about 10+@ years, and very often I have felt that this guy is just hungry for the win every single game, and that he just wants and tries to be the absolube best, the best in history maybe - the GOAT. Well, at this point maybe it's kind of clear that Ma already is the greatest male table tennis player of all time, but what made me cry is the dedication and passion I saw from him today. It really felt like Ma gave his life effort to win this game. Just look at his face and his eyes, I can feel his soul man. I think the greatness this guy has shown, especially for the past 5+ years from 2015, is no less greater than any other superstars in other great sports, such as Ronaldo, Messi, Michael Jordan, Lebron, etc. His body language, his Cho! Ing, his arm motion, footwork during the matches, his free hand movements (the hand not holding the racket, his left hand) all of these aspects just seem kind of "different" from other's. I think other people who've frequently wacthed table tennis and Ma Long's games can easily distinguish his skills as being different with other's. They are so... how should i say it, "elegant?" It's kind of similar to what I've felt when I watched Waldner's games, and maybe even Michael Jordan's body movement in his basketball games because people who love and understand the sport, no even those who don't have much interest in table tennis or basketball can see that those moves are amazing, somewhat even "beautiful." I feel and see that "GOAT" aura in Ma. This is not the first time seeing it, but truly Ma just gave everything he had to win this match and it was touching. Fan Zhendong played great, but Ma Long will be remembered by me as the first (and i think the last) player ever to bring me to tears watching a table tennis game :D... The feelings man! Gotta give praise to this man's fighting spirit and hard work he showed us for all these years. And It was an amazing performance today. Good game!
The match final between ML & FZD in Chinese National Championships 2017 was actually more exhilarating than this one and especially in the 6th last game of the match when Ma Long was up 5-3 points, he was a lot more vocal and pumped up and even more so ever determined to win than in this match.
Generations have come before, and will come after. But the duels between these two Gods will remain forever immortalized. Truly a privilege to experience.

And in majors, he has one major less than Zhang (although he is yet to win wttc and olympics). And his non-major records are already way better than Zhang Jike at 23.
This is clearly show the difference between talent and experience, ma long changed his style against fan zhen dong very quickly, one game in world cup final is enough to learn from mistakes and win the game, ma long is very very smart player
Honestly I think in this moment in time they are pretty much equal in terms of technical ability, considering that ma long's physical side is weaker because of age and injuries. It's just that experience, tactics and mental strength puts him on an another level

Normally 16mins videos are when it's 4-3 set match. But this match is 4-1 & purely due to some awesome rallies. Fan was in his top form in this match, but Ma Long used backhand topspins more as compared to previous match. Last match he just blocked Fan's attack making it easier for him to attack more.

Haven't seen Ma Long this pumped up for a match in a long long time. FZD played well, and would have beat just about anyone with this performance here today, except ML today.

WOOOWWWW. A 16 minute video with the outcome of 4-1 outcome?! That goes to show you how intense every point of the match truly was. Both players gave it their all, and at the end of the day, Ma Long showed up and told everyone he was still in charge. I mean, is this man even 32?! The way he moved around, seamlessly transitioning from forehand to backhand, covering the wide forehand, and keeping the rallies unpredictable... There's so much going on. Fan played amazingly, but this one was Ma's for the taking, for a couple of reasons: 1. Forehand optimization: Ma Long attacked aggressively using his forehand, going 100% on every shot, despite missing a couple. This put tremendous pressure on Fan to block accurately while keeping the pressure on. He also forced fast rallies by serving long to Fan's backhand, forcing him to open up. This took away Fan's short game and unpredictable backhand opening. And as I've commented before, I thought that if Ma opened up forehand rallies more, he wouldn't necessarily be at a disadvantage. Take a look at the following points: 2:274:264:384:485:44 etc... 2. Placement: This time, Ma Long outplayed Fan on placement, particularly during the open topspin rallies. He played down the line more and prompted Fan to use more of his forehand and backhand in combination. He played backhand to backhand but played some shots to the middle, forcing Fan to shift his balance. He would also serve short to the forehand and open up with a big forehand. Furthermore, he actually played more down the line shots with his backhand this time. Also, his service and third ball attacks were really outstanding. 8:5311:2513:5414:5812:41 etc... 3. BACKHAND: Boy did I not expect this one. His backhand was very active and he didn't block as passively as he did in the past couple of encounters. He opened up with banana flicks, he kept the pace on during rallies, and he played both down the line and cross-court shots. In terms of backhand to backhand rallies, he wasn't losing the majority of them either. I don't think I need to find examples of this, as this was prevalent in every single game. To improve this much in a short duration, as well as showing more development in the game this far along in your career... that just speaks volumes to the greatness of Ma Long. Fan played great too, but I don't think he came into this game expecting the beast form Ma Long was in. Furthermore, Ma just seemed to have more of a competitive spirit and overall was more motivated than Fan. And I think when Fan falls into the position of fending off an opponent rather than actively seeking to win from a mental point of view, he tends to fall a bit shorter. We've seen this in his matches against Liang Jingkun. I feel like I've written WAY too much, but I just get really excited watching these great matches! This was such a treat to watch, and I'm grateful to be able to watch these two titans go head to head. Only when such greatness is playing can we truly gain an appreciation for the complexity and sophistication of the sport of table tennis!
Wow today ML outplayed FZD in every aspect, found the solution to his dominant bachkand with active blocking, adjusted his distance when pushed to sudden forehands and never let a chance to FZD to really attack. When FZD decided to change was already 3 sets behind and any lead of ML´s would stress him out, as it happened. Moral? I’ve watched these dudes so many times that I’m genuinely fond of both of them. What a match! It’s so exciting to see Ma roar again. FZD has been tactically astute in using Ma’s positioning against him, and he caught Ma out quite a few times. But Ma was ready for him this time. Great recovery. Great match.

Possibly the highest quality game ever. Interesting how ML had closed down his bh angles. He won by not losing the quick bh exchanges which is FD's forte.

Wait there are always surprises. So many times we say in the games of Ma Long and Fan Zandong that it is the greatest game we have seen. As of this moment it seems that the biggest Ma Long has given in front of an even bigger and more inspiring fan from the 2017 World finals as long as they play we enjoy just like anyone who mentioned Messi or LeBron and Steph Kerry.

To who(m) exactly by saying what? 🤔 I'm saying I love watching XX play the most, followed by Gauzy, even though XX is WR 1 he lost to Gauzy 2019. And his most recent game against Falck at the WTT Macao 2020 was also quite bad where he lost 1:3. Basically I'm saying FZD+ML are more successful and consistent players atm, that's why they have a slight edge over XX in terms of being successful - not in terms of talent or mental strength. FZD+ML won the last finals, didn't they? And why else would they most likely be chosen for Olympia 2021 and not XX? Don't get me wrong, XX is my most favorite player, fun to watch and he is most talented with playing penholder style (~ Ma Lin once). I think he deserves way more - he's WR 1 for a good reason! Is it true that XX will probably quit playing table tennis next year? :( Anyway, I was wondering why XX didn't play at the ITTF Men's Singles 2020... It was a tough match for ma long. The score board just doesn't explain how intense the match is. Ma long played mental game a lot and learned from last week defeat.

When ML retires (I hope it's years later), we need a compilation of ML vs FZD. These two simply produced so many amazing plays. I still remember the 2017 World Champions final. Oh, wait, XX vs ML as well.

This match was insane! Amazing rallies and this video took 16minutes. The score was 4 1 and it shows that many quality rally happened in this game. Thanks for both player for playing hard. I’m lucky to live in this era of ma long and fzd.hands down.
That was one of the best modern speed play matches I have watched. A whole new level of excellence. It looks like we are watching the match at 1.5x speed.
Though it's not a popular sport in North America, but this is truly spectacular - power, flexibility, quickness, response, intelligence, precision, beauty ...... this game is so good and these two men are the best.
I'm really fond of Lily Zhang's commenting here. Her voice is really calming and her energy is very positive. I think she has found her future career when her playing days are over. Yep, she's a real keeper!!
But I think she made a lil mistake on 8:19 play when she said Ma used FH side swipe (in the full match in this video she said FH only and got cut) when actually I believe he used BH
2nd ...Ma Long the GOAT. INSPIRED many for crossing the bar and scale...in life and sports through TT. Note: For the comentary although "The voice of Table Tennis" is missing and missed here for the current ITTF events, we all enjoyed the final. Could have been better with extra enlightenment, with the gifted voice of Adam Bobro though.
I second this, such a beautiful final but missing much needed hype and excitement. And I believe he would have provided better insight on the technical aspect as well. No disrespect to current commentators but it sounded bland.
Great duel. It seems that from the last week world cup final ML slightly changed the placement of his backhand, more often to the center of the table, causing some more errors of FZD.

Well he's just getting back from alot of injuries..He had alot over the years that weren't talked about..He is looking for up to form each tournament and in this match he peaked..He almost lost to Harimoto and was laying an egg until he turned it on and pulled the match out in earlier rounds..
as a fan of malong who is the greatest tt player in my own opinion , I want to thank FZD cause I already knew no body can make the 2015 malong return except for him and that really showed up in the match
Ma Long, who is now much stronger than the previous Ma Long, won the gold medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics and when he won the 2015, 2017 and 2019 table tennis world championships.
I dont think he is stronger than the 2015 ML. 2015 ML was so much quicker and more consistent. His physical form was really much like FZD now but with more versatility in his game.

it seems like fzd doesn't do anything new in this match, we've seen these tactics many times. booting the left diagonal, then at some time transferring it direct. ML is playing much more varied! happy to see him in so excellent form!!!

I'm saying I love watching XX play the most, followed by Gauzy, even though XX is WR 1 he lost to Gauzy 2019. And his most recent game against Falck at the WTT Macao 2020 was also quite bad where he lost 1:3.
Basically I'm saying FZD+ML are more successful and consistent players atm, that's why they have a slight edge over XX in terms of being successful - not in terms of talent or mental strength.
FZD+ML won the last finals, didn't they? And why else would they most likely be chosen for Olympia 2021 and not XX? Don't get me wrong, XX is my most favorite player, fun to watch and he is most talented with playing penholder style (~ Ma Lin once).
I think he deserves way more - he's WR 1 for a good reason!

Ma Long, who is now much stronger than the previous Ma Long, won the gold medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics and when he won the 2015, 2017 and 2019 table tennis world championships.
I dont think he is stronger than the 2015 ML. 2015 ML was so much quicker and more consistent. His physical form was really much like FZD now but with more versatility in his game.
