For all you Young Bucs Fans......there was a Buccaneer that was 5'9" and 187 and wore # 28. And he was phenomenal!! I'm talking about Warrick Dunn!~!
Lol your high if you think this guy is turning into Warrick Dunn. Dunn was a top 12 pick
@@hayden0959and you’re high if you think RB’s are valued as high as they were back then. I absolutely loved Dunn but he’d be a second or third rounder in this new age NFL
Came here to see what he was all about. Immediately thought of Warrick Dunn! Not blazing fast like a 4.4 or below, but super elusive. However, Dunn was known for having elite pass blocking. Hopefully Bucky evolves his game!
@@chrefboho13ehh, I don’t know. Bijon Robinson went 8th overall last year, and him and Dunn have a lot of the same skill sets. Running backs who can catch are still extremely coveted.
@@0peinupYou see Bucky as super elusive? I didn't see that here. When I watched Bills' pick Ray Davis' highlights I saw some super elusiveness. I saw some in Green Bay's pick Marshawn Lloyd too.
Just stumbled across this channel and you guys are amazing... love the knowledge here and as a Bucs fan I'm hoping he does well. Much love
I think he woulda showed up big time in the 3cone and short shuttle. That's his bread and butter
Go Bucky it’s your time cousin I’m so proud of you cousin🎉🎉🎉❤
We all proud of lil cuzo
Warrick Dunn 2.0 #GOBUCS
Go bucs!!
Bucky Irving's highlight reel makes me think of Reggie Bush
Bucky is super shifty, got great feet, is not afraid of contact and has good power but will use that fact to his advantage to side step right by you. He also can hit sliver size holes and some how pop out the other side of the pile. And he is fastest enough to stay ahead of most people behind him. Works for me.
Good pick. I like this.
Emmitt Smith was a 4.55 speed guy and produced similar yards per carry average in college 7.8 to Bucky's 7.1.. They are very similar size. And both are good pass catchers. Most people don't know that a well known college scout stated Emmitt was too slow and too small to become a successful RB, so, obviously 40 time and size is not always the "magic ingredient". Bucky is a bit smaller but will likely put on a little muscle at the pro level.
If you really want to see a glimpse of comparison, watch Bucky's highlights and then watch Emmitt's. (I know it sounds crazy, but just look with your own eyes) th-cam.com/video/bBKkx0gqse4/w-d-xo.html (At 1:12 in the video, Bucky followed a lead blocker the same exact way. And at 3:06 Emmitt did the same spin move Bucky does in his highlight reel). Look, nobody is saying Bucky is the next Emmitt because Emmitt is one in a million.. But, it got a little strange seeing how similar they are actually. I would bet money Bucky studied Emmitt's moves VERY closely and developed his run style after Emmitt. ALL I'M SAYING is that Bucky may have done some serious study on Emmitt's Style and that may give the Bucs a whole new dimension. ;)
Speed isnt everything. . Emmit Smith was not a burner but his side step and vision was fantastic .
Vision is soooooo underrated .
His highlights are shockingly fun to watch, pound for pound power moving piles over & over again. He can set up defenders against each other. His stiff was elite also. He's got a different type of muscle it's fun to watch I hope it works in the NFL. I hope he just gets his shot because he doesn't seem like an athlete you would want bet against. Yet I feel we are all betting against him unless you think he's a 3rd Rndr.
Welcome to Tampa.
David Martin was Small and was a handful, hard to see, hard to stop or tackle and always ran with a chip on his shoulder wanting to punish those thinking they would overpower and Stunt him, Bucky will be slippery, has great hands Mayfield can count on and highlight reels will be of those missed tackles trying to Stop Irving
As a Bucs fan we need a rb that not always in the backfield dancing and actually hitting the holes before they close up…welcome young man & always
GO BUCS!!!
I remember when the Bucs used to play Barry Sanders twice a year. He was 5' 8".
I’m a diehard Bucs fan. This guy is no Berry Sanders. Let’s hope for a Warrick Dunn.
Barry Sanders was also a chiseled 200 pound brick who was one of the twitchiest athletes of all time. Barry's short area quickness is nearly unmatched by anyone in NFL history.
@@pubmeatmanhe was saying far as size and saying its a great thing since he’s this size
@@Elthenar Barry was one of a kind - a spectacularly gifted runner. No question, but one of the all time greats.
Top 2 RB in CFB
WE STAN BUCKY
As a Bucs fan, I'd like to be the first to welcome our new excitement overlord.
Bucky could be a solid ppr player in fantasy if he gets in the right system. Def needs to get better in pass protection. But he’s an absolute dawg and runs super hard. Great catching the ball out of the backfield. I think he will get a shot. He’s a better athlete than Blake Corum.
Theo Riddick comp?
Bucky Irving behind Graham Barton and Tristan Wirfs look out.
He would do real well in the NFL warrick Dunn and Darryl straws and Dave maggot o and the back from Jacksonville Mr Maurice Jones Drew I think you'll do just fine
Was already jazzed up about this pick before stumbling across this video. Obviously as a 4th round selection, i need to temper any big expectations, but...
That tape looks pretty electrifying. He just might be amazing.
I'll be happy if he can contribute a handful of positive plays a game.
Deuce Vaughn best comp
Yall one of the best in evaluating thanks for the insight on these prospects the past few weeks, was wondering if yall can do a couple more te evaluations like for tes jatavion sanders and Ben Sinnott. Feel like there should be more then just bowers on the te prospects. Other then that great content yall and appreciate it
Reminds me of mike alstott with less power. Maybe he puts on a little more muscle weight and runs people over, who knows.
😭😭
this might be the wildest player comp i’ve ever seen😭
He's my rb2 and I will not apologize nor elaborate
I think he will be special teams or RB3 I don't think he's going to beat out Chase Edmonds for RB #2. Not in year one.
@@thescentprofiler5539 I meant personal evaluation for the draft 🫡
Notre Dame Blake Fisher?
Not a good athlete he said? Okay he didn’t do good at the combine. That tape shows field vision and field quickness. He’s good at playing football, not test.
Dion Lewis
When someone says that a person running a 4.55 40 is not a good athlete, I immediately tune them out. Yes he is not the .001% of the draft class running a 4.2 - 40 time, if those are your biggest metrics to judge a player then good luck. Proof is in the pudding his results at Oregon speak for themselves. Now with Barton at center he is going to go off...Buck Wild and you guys will look pretty casual with your take.
😂facts but if a 6’6 275 DE runs a 4.5 he’s so athletic
It’s relative you clown 😂 this is the nfl. When a defensive player is twice his size running faster than him GOOD LUCK 😂
They don’t know Bucky from Hazel Crest
Lol😂 at why 'experts' love to spend talking points on weight, height, etc. If any guy can do his job, kudos for him. On and off the field is even better eh. Having vision- waiting for holes and defense to make the wrong move is great. ❤
Just get him on the field with the ball in his hand that’s all that matters
Clyde Edwards Helaire but worse a pass blocking
turns out small rbs are harder to tackle
The guy With the LA hat on is wrong. Buc will have 800 yards all purpose
Like you know
Every time bucky had the ball at Oregon, I believed something good would happen. I think hes a good football player but im really concerned about his health
Athletic testing matters the most to runningbacks. What? It probably predicts success better than any other position besides defensive line
Nope
Sounds like a slot wr
WARRICK DUNN 2😊
I'm out on Bo Nix, Troy Franklin and Bucky Irving at their current prices. I don't trust that that Oregon offense is going to translate well to the NFL.
How many bots on Underdog?
They over analyze stats
A D1 athlete who isn’t athletic at the RB position.. cmon bro Bucky going to be a problem fr back to back 1000 yards rushes at Oregon. And he makes almost every first tackle miss
That isn’t the nfl
I could not stand Warrick Dunn's running style once he came into the NFL. Hopefully this kid doesn't stutter step so much like Warrick and hits the hole faster.
Josh saying a D.1 Runningback is "not a good athlete" is obnoxious
I mean he has a 2.16 RAS. He’s not a good athlete for his size
Say that shit again when he’s in the nfl getting trucked by guys twice as fast and heavy as him
