Watching this a second time it was actually closer than I thought. Ehh, I want to give it to Victor but he had some mistakes that I can't overlook. Hill's toprock is always the same and that annoys the hell out of me but he was clean and consistent. Really close battle.

I agree with your first statement about their knowledge in the scene but I'd have to disagree with the biased part. If you rewatch some of the Differ battles, I feel as if the fact that the two come from an older generation, they didn't appreciate Differ's style
It's not about whether you are gonna lose next battle it's about the battle at hand. Doesn't matter if I know you have a million more moves to beat the next guy with, if you didn't beat the guy you were facing it doesn't matter. What the fuck? Judging based on what someone might do next round? Is that real judging or putting on your own personal show. I don't care if someone used every single one of their moves in the battle, if they won, they won.

vic has very good footwork but i wouldn't call it 'mad'.
but he didn't show it, maybe because the music in RBBCOne was so weak this year (seriously, it seemed to me that the DJ used the same beat over and over again), he did very good but had no more moves to bust out.
go watch some videos of vicious, he had nothing after this battle to win against bboys like differ or mounir.

He had mad footwork in his sets, what're you talking about lol.. He's got variation too. Who else in this jam got wolves to flare to 90? Hill was cleaner yeah, but that's about it.. His sets were short and boring, but that's just my opinion.

It must be really hard to commentate on a bboy battle. Its not like ice skating or gymnastics where the cathletes have a bank of defined moved that they use. Bboying is too fast, free and self expressive for others to commentate on in real time. I think these guys did a good enough job and giving a pros opinion but in terms of actually commentating on what is happening move by move, or set by set, its difficult I'd say.
Not sure why they need commentators during. I'd rather hear the music.
