Born and raised in WA, never knew there was a single carnivorous plant here. Great work Laura, very interesting and informative
Glad this came out, we have a few carnivorous plants in Victoria too. They are so underappreciated.
I was doing a bushwalk in Heathcote NP (southern fringe of Sydney) last year and spotted a few sundews growing in some sandy, swampy parts on sandstone ridges. It was cool to spot them and a couple were flowering.
More native plant content please

Great
Just adorable:):)
wow, so much carnivorous plants - they are so unique and pretty
Interesting work,
I have seen many of these carnivorous plants wandering around the Perth bushland with my family.
Good to see a lovely young lady passionate about plants and what she does, inspiring to me 🤗🍻
Glad it was inspiring, thanks for watching!
Wow👍❤️
I thought carnivorous plants were really rare. Once you know what to look for they are quite common (in the Midwest of WA)
👍
Read this as Laura skates coronavirus plants. Kewl family name Skates. 😋
My brain read coronavirus plants…. Then I realised carnivorous is an anagram.
Imagine the prey saying the only reason, I am important is because of my nitrogen content.
