@BigSmittyRiding hi from the United kingdom I'm autistic a long time agoI used to struggle with it. I used to struggle socially and learning then when I met a group of bikers who I live with now took me under their wing and if it wasn't for them I wouldn't be where I am now. I now ride a motorbike I have a job and I'm married to a beautiful lady who is also autistic. And I just want to say that it's great to see a fellow biker who also spreads awareness about autism and realises the struggle with having autism from an outside perspective. Your an inspiration to me for being able to spread awareness. And i find your humour awesome and your videos educational and always cheers me up when I'm down in the dumps. Thank you so much for making these videos and inspiring others.
Thank you very much for sharing your story! That’s absolutely amazing and very inspiring to hear. Gives me hope for my son and plenty of others. I appreciate the kind words and the support! Much appreciated!
Smitty, we are all tanking these days. One of my good friends has a son who is autistic. He's in his twenties now and holding down a job. Thank you for bringing this to light every year!
"Everybody's weird"? Uh uh. I'm not. LOL! I'm normal, and so am I. Not ever having had a conversation with one's child by the age of 15 would be unimaginably hard. You'd never know what the child was thinking or experiencing, and to some extent, neither could he or she know what you're thinking/experiencing. My hat's off to you and your wife for managing life with your son and seemingly enjoying your lives outside of your children. I've spoken to people with severely autistic kids, and they've told me there's little else in life that can put such a strain on a marriage as a severely autistic child. I don't know that I'd have the strength. And choosing to teach those kids? Hats off again. That takes a special person. Hope all is well! Tongue click and fingers pointed back atcha.
I seen that documentary about how they took him on a tour throughout Texas and Oklahoma and one of the people from Mile Monsters wants to do a 48 State ride if he does well in school
LOL, I'm pretty sure I'm the one that pushed you over the edge with that meme... good times. Great chat - we all have our challenges, but knowing others are going through the same thing is a big help - good on ya for sharing that.
No, three more people sent it to me after you. And you’re right, knowing others are fighting the same battle helps us keep pressing on. Thanks for watching!
Every year you enlighten me more than any source. Having kids and I think I had hard day. Does not compare what others are struggling with their child. You and your wife are some amazing parents, thanks for sharing my friend!
Man Jay I seriously appreciate the kind words and the support my friend. Yeah man I see other people having it way worse than me and it helps me be grateful for what I have. I’m glad I’m able to shine a light on Autism and what families deal with. Again, I seriously appreciate you and your support.
Thanks for talking about this man, I look forward to this chat every year. I have friends and family that have kids on the spectrum and its good to talk about
Love the intro. Shared on Facebook... My nephew has autism and is having a very rough time. Has Insanely high Intelligence but social skills are not so good. But regardless he always talks too me. But as he got older he got really depressed...still struggling with it. It is really hard to see the people you love suffer in any way shape or form but all you can do is be there and hope you get the moment that he breaks through .. just don't give up on them or yourself
Thank you very much for the kind words and for the support. It’s so hard to watch someone struggle with social issues or with depression. I’m sorry for your nephew and I hope things get better for him.
I appreciate these videos. You were the 1st one I found online that talked about it. So much of your storry mirros how things have happend to me. As a parent knowing we are not alone, other think and feel the same things is a huge help! You Rock.
Thank you Jerry. I’m glad to know there’s others out there like me who struggled at first to deal with the diagnosis and then moved on to tackle it head on. I appreciate the support and the kind words!
the "Cure" yeah man its an interesting perspective. I mean would you try to cure a lion for being a lion? Nail on the head about autism isn't the definition of your son. Great video bud, appreciate all you do :)
Thank you for the kind words my friend and for the support. The stuff you and the other Monsters are doing blows me away. Definitely inspires me to do more!
So your last couple of videos tank .I mean your little backwards you ride a honda instead of riding a Harley .But you have is Charisma ,and that's all counts.LOL

@Dangerous_Company18 yup. They’re doing the 48 states in 10 days this summer. Epic stuff!
This important to speak about. I have someone I love that has autism. More people should make an effort to raise awareness.
