Lots of hail damage, but at least it put out most of the fires. Hopefully they stay that way. Unfortunately we lost 3 of your countrymen flying the water bombers. RIP
I have a large amount of basswood on my property...pretty low grade firewood in my opinion. I burn some for myself and campfires but dont sell it to customers for firewood.
You can have ALL the "mystery" wood you can haul from our place. I cut it down just so it's not blocking the good hardwood's sunlight and robbing nutrients. I think the saplings provide survival food for the deer in winter and the bears munch on them when they wake up in the spring but otherwise they're pretty useless these days. Basswood used to be made into lightweight packing crates/boxes and was sometimes substituted in place of balsa wood for models but those are bygone eras.

I try to be very organized when it comes to my firewood.
why dont you reach out to a larger channel and explain to them what happened to your channel see if they will shout you out.
