I really enjoyed this video, I'm from the USA and I grew up running Fordson Majors and love them. My uncle has 6 of them on his ranch in Montana and still uses all of them to this day. And all of them run as good now as when they were shipped over here from England when they were brand new. I believe them to be one of the best built tractors ever made.
Was the most sold tractor in Finland in its time. We got -64 Super Major. About as reliable as can be. We got -65 MF 135 too, most sold tractor model in he world.
Of course you can check wiki about forson's. When I first watched this vid, I swear it looked like a Ford 8N or maybe a Jubilee which were extremely popular in the States in the 50's. I had an 8N growing up, and they make damn nice utility tractors. Helps if you convert them to 12Volt and remove the Gennie and pop in an alternator.
I love fordsons, me and my dad found a fordson super major in a barn at work it was about in the same shape as that one and it started first time after it had some fuel, oil and water, are you planning on restoring that one?

Hat keine zylinderlaufbuchse, die ziehbar und ersetzbar ist Muss neu ausgebohrt und geholt werden …nur in einer fachwerkstatt. … geldfrage! Die Maschine geht vielleicht noch, trau ich ihr zu. Viel Spaß bei der Arbeit! Gefällt mir, dass ihr ihn repariert! N. W.
