@marcgoesblindgaming2076 Ok Marc, enjoyed the speccy version as a kid. The floor moving on those squares looked good. Hurt the eyes after a while mind 😆 🤣 The C64 had some cool music on too. Both good versions here sre good mate. Have a great Bank Holiday pal ✌️ 😊
Psychedelic into there man😁 You really stepped up on your c64 last life there buddy. Shame there wasn't a 128k version for the Speccy as the game ran great, some AY tuneage would've been awesome Brilliant game and top vid Paul.
@@Tetlee Morning Lee, yeah I was gradually getting used to the 64 version, my joystick isn't the best too 😆 Imagine if the speccy had some of that cool music on, it would have been mint, but I still think the 48k still played well, and especially managing the get that chequered ground like that and the speed is great too 👍 The C64 couldn't manage it 😆 Over all 2 great games for both 8-bits I'd say buddy 😊 Thanks again for watching pal, and the weekend it here peace ✌️ 🍻
@@TheKayliedGamerChannel-TH-camHey Daz, I had the speccy version which I liked, great how they managed to get the ground chequred like that with decent speed, the 64 obviously had music on and was also decent 👌 Never played the SMS version, I might have to check it out. Cheers for watching pal, have a great bank holiday weekend ✌️ 😊 🍻
@@garygillgaming Hello Gary, think both are decent, I was brought up on the speccy version, graphics are nice, and good how the ground is done. Played the C64 at my cousin's too, great music and fast. Thanks for watching mate 👍 😊
I never even knew this was ported to the speccy and c64. I remember playing the arcade version back in the day. Im thinking i may have played the megadrive version too.
Nice to see the floor was in the speccy version mate but commodore version for the win for me. I only ever played the master system version and space harrier 2 on megadrive so was nice to see the comparison between these 2 versions mate. Enjoy new order 🙂👍
Ok Glen, yeah the C64 has a nice tune playing and is quite good. The lack of sound and strange colours probably don't help innthe speccy, but yeah the floor is impressive I must say 😃 👍 it also plays well mate. 2 canny versions, thought I'd get this before on TH-cam before heading to Manchester tommorrow lol, beer we go again! 😂 🍻 🎶 Cheers for watching pal, enjoy your beers too bud 👍 🍺
I’ve only played the Master System port of the first game but I like both of these. The speccy wins though as the graphics look better and has music! It’s cool seeing Sega games on other consoles!
@bundjohn Hey John, think you might have those mixed up, the C64 had the music on 😆 🤣 But I prefer thr graphics on the Spectrum 👍 Both are decent versions though mate 👌 Thanks for watching pal, enjoy ya weekend ✌️ 😊
@raza_is_retro Hey Raza, this was a classic arcade game ported the most 8 and 16-bits back in the day, I enjoyed the speccy version as a kid and also played the 64 version 😀 Both great games for a quick blast now and again, cheers for watching pal, enjoy ya weekend, I'm running races most of it lol, 5k tonight and half marathon Sunday, beers alert after that mind 🏃♂️ 🍻 😊 👍
IIRC, the C64 keyboard can only register one key at a time (unlike the Spectrum membrane), so is pretty much useless for games. But with two built-in joystick ports the thinking must have been so what? Space Harrier's too fast for me, Stew. Even back in the day. Dunno how they got the grid to move so fast on the Speccy. Enjoy your gigs. 26C is coming soon. Supposedly! 😁👍
Ok Marco, I didn't know that about the C64 mate thanks, I suppose If there is 2 joystick ports that's fair enough 😂 🕹 It is a bit to fast at times lol. And I shall enjoy New Order, with a few beers thrown in too 😊 🍻 🎶 Cheers for watching pal ✌️ 😊 🍺
Well i might be biased but id say the Speccy version is by far the best and aside from colour, think its a far more accurate representation of the arcade👍
@@retroimportgamer513 Yeah I agree, I always enjoyed playing it on the speccy mate, the 64 is still decent though, but Spectrum rules!! 😆 👍 Cheers James ✌️ 😊
Remember playing this in the arcade as a nipper, awesome shooter.
C64 couldn't do the chequered floor because it was too stupid 🤣😂.
Speccy rules.
@davidretrogamesplayedbadly3533 Totally agreed David 😆
Cheers buddy 👍
Enjoy ya bank holiday weekend dude 😎 🙌 ✌️ 🍻
Both look like fantastic versions, I had it on the Speccy SA kid and remember having fun with it
