Hey you should do a final moments episode on the twin towers during 911. You could describe what the people trapped on the upper floors had to experience and inevitably the effects of the collapse. There were also tons of cases of people that had to choose between jumping, or dying from burns/smoke inhalation. Hope you’ll think on it, I think it’s a decent idea.

Probably, but I meant castle in way as the teanslation of castle into the German word 'Burg', which is a specific kind of fortress. The fortresses in Asia are castles to an english speaker, but to me as a German they dont really register ss Castle. So thats why I used the word wrong.

You forgot to mention, that there actually was a Waffen-SS Obersturmführer among the defenders of the castle who befriended the prisoners, which makes the battle even stranger than it already was.
And the village Wörgl was actually left by the Wehrmacht and Gangl and his men were only there, because they joined the Austrian resistance.
And Gangl was actually the only casualty among the defenders and pushed one of the prisoners out of the way of the sniper when he got shot.

The Wehrmacht officer that the Yugoslavian scout ran into didn't "give up on the whole Nazi thing"; he was never committed to it in the first place. The Wehrmacht were the standard army of the German military. They were not as radically devoted to the Reich as the actual Nazis were. To equate the standard German army with the ruling political regime would be like saying the U.S. Armed Forces are loyal to the Republican Party. It's silly to say such a thing. I'm nitpicking here, but I figured I'd drop a comment just to reveal more information about this interesting event.

The second one also features asians in a sub-plot, africans too, and even a david and goliath miniseries. I loved the bit when a part of France switched sides, like, i didnt predict that one, Italy did it too, but that was to be expected. If i have to critizise the second one, ill say that the whole westfront thing at 1944-1945 is just pointless, like, the bad guys have already lost, whats up with that, making the movie longer with unnecessary filler? Still, way better than the first one!
Its 2 am and i have no clue what im doing with my life.

I´d say the sequel was better than the first one. A lot better pacing, a believable cast of villians mixed with some comical evil ones, better tech, some redemption arcs and a tournament arc on who could get to Berlin the fastest righ after the grand opening on the final chapter. And no one is ever gonna forget the beach episode because they actualy managed to make it relevant to the plot instead of just plain fanservice.

I'm genuinely surprised that Hollywood hasn't gotten hold of this story yet. I could easily see this as a sort of dark comedy film in the line of "Kelly's Heroes".
Right alongside that time a Pan-Am Clipper seaplane ended up stranded on the wrong side of the pacific and had to fly around the world to get home. Now there's a possible sequel to this story. Qxir, if you're interested, you can have that idea, no charge.

@@troybaxter I know, right? Heck, you could make a whole miniseries out of the Czech Legion's running battle across the Trans-Siberian Railway; there's even a game being made about that, "Last Train Home".
Not to mention the harrowing voyage of the USS Marblehead, the obsolete American cruiser that fended off multiple Japanese attacks, nearly got blown in half, and ended up having to follow the Pacific Clipper around the world to get home safe. That one even has a loveable dog cameo, Able Seaman "Just Nuisance".

Hitler was appointed chancellor because he argued that since he had plurality in the Reichstag, he deserved a role in the Weimar government.
