Hey! Love your channel! So unique and finally someone that teaches and keeps it REAL. I love that your knowledgeable, and know your theory, history, techniques, repertoire...so wonderful and refreshing after so long of me trying to find a channel like this since I never had a teacher. I’m wondering if you’d ever play something I’ve written? I write a lot of piano music, and am dying for someone to play some. I have a few pieces on my channel, but let me know if you’d like! And again, YOU DO YOU GIIIRL love your channel!

Thanks, lots of good ideas there. I like the Alfred's Masterwork Classics series as well.

In the sonatinas, there are a few additional nice sets: Diabelli opus 151 and 168 (beautiful pieces), Dussek opus 20, Kulhau opus 20 and 55 (maybe a bit more difficult) and Hummel Six easy pieces opus 52 (very musical). Also more modern is Carl Nielsen Opus 3 and Grieg lyrical pieces opus 12 are gorgeous !

Hello! Thanks again for this great video. Do you know how the Suzuki piano book 4 would compare with the grade 4 level you're mentioning..?

hi, i kind of have a situation and was wondering if yoi have an opinion. i recently welcomed a new student into my studio, who's had her exam pieces already selected, and because her exam is in a few weeks (this was back in december), i didnt think too much to review her selections. today i just noticed that her studies are chosen one from each group A B, and C, and the RCM syllabus indicates that she must have 2 from group A and 1 from either group B and C. we are 3 days away from her exam, so she definitely will not have time to practice another study. Im just glad it wasnt a problem with her repertoire. Anyways, any opinions on this matter? should we be honest and tell the adjudicator, or we should just sneak it in and hope the adjudicator dont notice or say anything?
