- Back again with more multiplayer Scrap Mechanic! Today we are competing in a bridge laying competition where each person has to build a vehicle and bridge capable of spanning multiple gaps in the road! Each person will have to drop their bridge, travel across it and pick it up again in this crazy challenge!

You guys should do another bridge laying challenge, but instead you must carry all of the bridges and place them as you go. Like store them in a magazine or something, and then take one out at a time.

I'd love to see a challenge where they drop the bridge and it has to deploy itself over the gap through some mechanism. Even more of a challenge if the bridge isn't allowed to be welded down.

Bigger bridge no forglift(?) Bridge must be able to let another player trough and play it more like VIP ^_^ you can make one vehicle that is the bridge whilenother drives trough it.
The other car is pre selected same car so the speed is the same for everyone ...
For the next bridge layer challenege use a bearing in the middle so it folds and use the same mechanism with changes to make it more streamlined
Next bridge challenge: bridge longer gaps, but with variable gap lengths (like 48 to 64 blocks) and one of that gaps is at an angle - the road turns 15-30 degrees compared to the perfectly aligned version in this challenge.

That was a really good concept!
I would enjoy seeing this again but with a river of sorts and the bridges pieces have to link together one by one for you to get across.
Since you have to take the bridge across anyway, I’d just create a super long vehicle that can drive across the gaps.

this challenge reminds me of the "M60 AVLB" (AVLB = Armoured Vehicle Land Bridge)

Bridges again (longer gap) but with a tunnel at the end and a walled thight 90° turn to force nice storage of the bridges.
And/or the capacity to lay multiple bridges but has to drive back over them with a heavy standard vehicle.
(Possible let your followers submit or vote for one vehicle on each of your channels and make multiple heats)

You guys should do this, but the way actual bridge building machines do it. China has tehse massive machines that lay bridge sections down onto pillars to make railway bridges, you should do that, make something that can collect bridge sections, then drive on it's own bridge, and lay the next bridge section onto the pillars. Maybe even you build your own pillars too, so you are deciding your own segment length and attachment system.
I would make the pegs expand to fit the gap under the bridge
Heres an idea, You can't have the bridge a second entity, The vehicle and bridge must always be in contact, and are the same, a car that is its own bridge. I call it, a Cridge! or a Bar. or a Baridge!

Either bigger bridges, or the same sized bridges without enough room in between to turn around (so you'll need to do something that can flip the bridge from one side over the vehicle to the other side)
I would honestly have a bridge that is secured by in place by thrusters, that turns off after a little bit

Start with only vertical support beams and create vehicles that needs to build the complete bridge with multiple road pieces.

i would have made a vehicle that hooks onto the bridge, then carries itself over, like an arm that pivots at the center of the bridge, that same arm would lift the bridge up over me and onto the next section.

Next time do bigger gaps and different levels of height from one side of the gap to the other. Like first be short gap level on both sides then next one be a short gap but be up hill then the next one be a long gap but level on both sides then like a long gap down hill!!! : )

What if you did this same challenge (bridge crossing) but with larger gaps and no pistons allowed, so you would have to use like only barring and pipes.

What if someone built a "bridge" in the form of a huuuge wheel. The truck drives inside the wheel and the wheel is large enough to cross the bridge.

Hey, kAN I need your help. how your bearings in the survival game is stable and have strong bonding as creative? in my case in survival when I use bearings with heavy vehicle the tires will be unstable and will bend out. is there is any command to fix it?

I would have gone with a collapsible bridge paired with a mandible type forklift (like ants) as well as something that is able to push the bridge back out when it’s time to cross the gap (this design is meant to prevent tipping to a minimum as well as keeping it compact). Well, that’s what my idea would be😄
