Spent 8 days in Sorrento in April 2024. Had dinner at that restaurant the first night. Couldn’t agree more with your comments about food in Italy and Sorrento. Didn’t want to leave.
@@lauriekeikkala9937 We picked April as it’s still low season. So rates for lodging reflected this season. Weather was perfect-sunny and warm. Cool in the evenings. Sorrento does attract a lot of US tourists, but the crowds were not overwhelming as in Almalfi or Capri. Easy to walk around, find places to eat or shop. I found it a great location for day trips and it was always enjoyable to return to at the end of the day.
I love Sorrento and will try this pizzeria. In fact, I am in love with Italy. As a solo traveller, I really enjoy every bit of the time I spend discovering beautiful parts of Italy and, of course, the food, scenery, and ambience . Thank you for sharing 😊
I’ve actually collected lava gravel that they spread when the roads are icy… (In the U.S.) I use it in my potting soil… My tomato & basil plants thrive in it!
We spent 10 days in sorrento in 2017. When you travel from New Zealand you have to make the most of your stays. We ate at this restaurant. The good was fabulous and I'm still licking my lips from my cup of hot chocolate. Viva Italia.
@@LetsGoWithMichaelPetry-ln8fl it was the dessert display that caught my eye and decided we would eat there. No regrets about that decision! I love Italy, the people and the food.
Isn’t it just amazing?? And I love that they realize the beauty and “value” of their historic architecture and preserve it so well… I didn’t see a single “ strip mall” anywhere!! LOL!!

@@sueannesorrentino8430 Wow!! All wonderfully iconic experiences! I hope you took a lot of pictures! 😀 Thank you so much for sharing! La Cantinaccia del Popolo is the best restaurant in Sorrento, hands down, best meatballs, best vongole, you name it, pulpo and many more!! I arrived 2 days ago and I will dine in there again tonight! Mind you, waiting time is horrendous, they open at 6:45pm yet by 6:15pm lines starting to accumulate, please try it for your own sake!!

Sorry, if you think food in the U.S. is good on average, then you are truly clueless. Industrially farmed/grown ingredients (meat/veggies/grains) are substandard when compared to the rest of the world. Americans mostly care about food cost, but not food quality.
Yes… I am probably clueless as you say… But I do find it interesting that a large portion (more than 50%) of the Arizona (USA) wheat harvest is exported to buyers in Italy. www.azfb.org/Article/Fun-Facts-about-Arizonas-Desert-Durum#:~:text=9.,10.
@MMathis-cu7ew I don't disagree. In the U.S., you have to SEARCH for high quality food or grow it yourself. And it's often more expensive than the equivalent in other countries. I'm talking about the baseline/average quality.
Hey Mike Im a guy who handles marketing like SEM and keyword strategy, let me know if i can get with you to share a proposal. Hopefully we can get your channel the views it deserves
Hey, thanks for reaching out... No, I'm still experimenting around with it... I also have some help in that department... Seems to be working at this point.. But thank you anyways!

Chicago deep dish Pizza is actually a casserole.
No… We don’t consider deep dish as “Chicago” pizza at all…

Sorrento is NOT on ocean is on a sea The Mediterranean Sea

I really messed that up…
They all kinda look and feel the same to me…
Yea, the Bay of Naples, on the Mediterranean Sea.
Bro chose the single worst-rated restaurant in the whole of Sorrento.
Seriously?
I would like to see one of those “worst ratings” that it received.
