Hey man...Always been a HUGE fan....my mother (who we lost like during the HEIGHT of your popularity) was your BIGGEST fan. Lol Lost her at 13 and am 37 now one of my last memories is of how she was dying for this shirt ya had at the time (You know the 1....Your Ass is Grass....and Im gonna SMOKE it lol). Dont know how ive missed your podcast til now but man started bingin it a couple hrs ago and im 6 ep deep lol. I’m rewatching 90’s WCW and WWF right now and I’m in the middle of 98 now. Both these guys, Austin and X-pac have great careers. Watching them both in the WWF and 1998 is such a reminder to how much better wrestling was back then. And don’t anyone tell me everyone thinks they’re wrestling was better blah blah blah, I watch wrestling for over 25 years before I gave up on it in 2006 in wrestling changed a lot in those 25 years and I was always OK with the changes until we got to where we are now. The lack of storytelling the lack of rink psychology screams at you every time an old-school fan tries to watch today’s wrestling. Today’s performers have not got it that being a good worker does not mean doing 1000 moves a match. Austin is the biggest drawing store in professional wrestling history and after he hurt His neck in 1997 the next five or six years when he was the most over he did less than he did the previous eight years. Now you’ve got guys doing 1000 moves in the fans are more interested in the chants they can get in the shows and they are the wrestling match.
Stone cold vs Kane on raw was a good overlooked match so was his match with savio vega strap match.

15 years ago the industry turned me off so bad that I stopped watching and have no interest in it anymore . I only get my fix from podcasts and old school vids on TH-cam .

14:14 before his neck injury Steve was very graceful in the ring and had a wide variety of pretty snazzy looking moves. After that piledriver though he was very stiff looking in the ring, he still could work his ass of but compared to how he used to be it looked rather stiff

Steve looks great for a guy that put himself through so much physical abuse. I also have to say that I'm warming to Denise big time.
