Her X-Factor live version of this was one of the BEST I've seen and heard from an X-Factor contestant. This is the right kind of material for her to sing, because it's so original, which is what she is.

Im not really a Pop man, actually i like every musicstyle except pop, but i like the stories behind songs and singers, and this story is really good. (And i dont learn english, i lear German ( or how you guys call it xd )

no the original is by "shakesears sister" but since this song was produced in like the 80's the original artist is dead now and Cher sang this on 'The x-factor" and l.a liked it so they Recorded it and made the song as her own.so there for yes it sort of is her own
