- So, y'all know by now I'm a total routine mom! Now that it's summer, we've all got to stick to a routine to keep our sanity. 😅 While we tweak things occasionally, our days mostly follow a similar schedule.
Because my kids know what to expect and when, they're happier throughout the day. And when they're happy, I'm happy too! 😎😏

Your videos are cringy, all of them, I’m sorry. You’re so emotionally closed off, it’s scary. It’s okay to be fun, and love, and hug, and be more than you are, in my opinion. Like that video of your 18 month old being thrown into his bed over and over and left- it’s sick. Show some compassion and love your children. They’re not robots.

Coming from a family of 8 kids, this gives me flashbacks.
Our family was organized, we had our little responsibilities, not much, but still enough to instill values of work/being responsible.
Mom was the leader of the house.
Much respect to this family.
There were only four kids in my family. That meant that we had a lot more to do because it wasn’t divided seven ways. There wasn’t a need for all this organization. We were pretty much self directed. As the only girl for 13 years, I did all the ironing before permanent press. We all fit around one table and we didn’t eat off paper plates. There was nothing at home that resembled an assembly line.
Teaching the little one to throw away trash 🙌🏼 people just assume kids can’t do anything, but it’s only bc they don’t teach them

Yesss! As a nursery school teacher I love this! These kids are learning independence from a very early age which is a good thing. Children need to be allowed to do things for themselves - age appropriatly of course. I see this every day; Tiny little human beings (1 to nearly 3 year olds) not only throwing trash in the bin but throwing it in the right bin. We have four different bins in our classroom for plastic, food scraps, paper and other trash and we teach them what goes where from they start nursery at age one. It's like a game to them, they get the hang of it very quickly, and always get a high five and praise for their effort. They also clean themselves after meals; they know where the wet wipes are and we have a toddler height plastic mirror they use to clean their faces. They also clear their plates, cutlery and cups from the table when they're done eating. Toddlers want to be independent and it's our job (both as parents and teachers) to help them achieve it.😊
Yup! My daughter is 18mo and can put trash in the bin, and follow very simple directions. She also helps unload the dishwasher (nothing sharp or dangerous of course), and cleans up her toys with help. I also get her to "help" me when I clean. I give her a wipe or my Swiffer duster and she runs around behind me cleaning.

Not only is this helpful for mom, but you’re teaching them to be organized and proficient with their time and day.
I remember my mom would write day “chores” and activities and tape them to the fridge… we were never bored or unoccupied . 😊

I really applaud these parents for their great partnership and dedication to have a household and family camaraderie with the children that, it runs like a well oiled machine! The home is clean upon their waking up! The kids are well mannered and work together. That takes lots of LOVE and respect and COMMUNICATION of the needs of each other.
I do not see any partnership. I see the mother doing everything and directing the kids. The father came, ate and left.
This is absolutely jaw dropping. This family is outstanding. And mom even has a perfect figure. Are they for real? Kidding, the look real. I'd think he did, honestly. "Don't judge others by your past experience", is something my mom always told me. Helped me a lot.

I absolutely LOVE the fact that these children have been taught to help out at home! I've never heard of the Skylight calendar, but when I was raising my children we didn't have electronics to lean on. I made a chart that helped them do these same things too. So if you can't afford to buy the Skylight calendar, you can always make a chart for your children to use! KUDOS to this family that seems to have children who LISTEN to their parents! Hopefully, that will continue so they become grown adults that are respectful to others.
She actually makes them be part of house routine. That's really good. For all of the participants.

No it doesn't necessarily if you start at the right age and your teaching technique is correct..
I love how you have them help with laundry. My mom had us help with what we could. She didn't let us down in the basement unsupervised for safety reasons because dad keeps all his tools down there, but we would help her with folding the clothes and putting clothes away once they were clean.

I applaud you I came from a family of 14 children and I am imagining how our loving caring supportive mother raised us up in the middle of WW2 to the era of Aquarius generation. I love how everyone contributes. With the checklist mom doesn't get frustrated, kids don't frustrated, etc. The kids feel proud of themselves while learning so many valuable lessons.

Such a beautiful family! We raised 5 (our 6th went to heaven after birth) our lives filled with mountains of laundry too, but our home was full of love & laughter. Enjoy these years, they truly fly by. Don't miss a moment, it doesn't seem like it now, but one day you're only going to have echoes of the life of chaos. We're in our golden years now, children and grandchildren all grown, but the wonderful memories live on.

I think it’s wonderful to include your family your children for that matter to help you with daily chores. It gives them a sense of being accomplished and a sense of pride in themselves to take care of themselves as they grow.

Routine, tasks and ADLs set a schedule, and a schedule means predictably and predictably produces a feeling of order, calm and serenity. It can produce boredom. So, it also helps to switch things up once in awhile to create stimulation and excitement, that creates motivation and mental clarity. But the basis of most healthy, happy households, aside from loving, loyal well-balanced parents, is dependable activity.

This is awesome. This is family taking care of family. I see videos all the time where the parents are like so exhausted and they’re picking up the kids toys and I am like what is going on here. Where are the kids helping picking up their own toys every time I say this and I watch this video and everybody’s participating and I’m like yes this is the way I grew up. This is the way everybody I knew grew up.
