@@pawegaanczuk575 although Mark is a fabulous songwriter & story teller, he has lost all his aggressive and guitar filled licks that defined Dire Straits. I think its age, and his contentment to have a "band" sound, as opposed to focus on his guitar. I sometimes wonder if Mark could still play, note for note songs like he did on Dire Straits first two albums. Watch the "Rockpalast" concert from Germany in 1979. He was an animal on the guitar then.
