2MAMBU Android Guided rockets do work well for Pathfinder for all the reasons you laid out. I have two of the new one and need a 3rd to complete my set :) For now I'm using Chion.
FBARYV/Android: For me, pulsars might be one of the best builds for pathfinder especially for the f2p. The hazards may still be viable but the slower fire rate isn't really good especially when the enemy is near you
If I ever get a Pathfinder, I'll try 2 Scourge (My favorite weapon) and a Vortex 1st. That's the loadout I have for my Haechi and has served me well since.

I got the path finder yesterday during my once a moth upgrade and i am not good with support because I am a leader it is a skill I have to learn to be the best I can be but I set for attack with dampers as recomended but to no avail i got killed so I decided to wait til I get more modules to set it up but I did set it up with one of those weapons used in the video until I can get more but I was able to set it up with I think 3 burner weapons for attack mode I haven't learded all it secrets yet until I get more modules I am the leader of the ST67 clan callsign Slytiger1

UA82JL / iOS Seriously I hate the pathfinder, I tend to play brute bots and I get tired of pathfinders stealing my kills, I finish a game with 6-8m dmg and end up 4-6th cause I got 2 kills and a pathfinder guy gets 2m dmg and scores 7 kills same with crisis.i prefer close up skill to long range skill less players anytime. But a good set up for me for crisis would be shock train!

Weber is a underrated pathfinder build and is affordable
