The Orioles got screwed over for the All-Star game. The Orioles have the best record or are tied for the best record in baseball, yet only have 3 guys picked for the game. The Phillies have 7, the Guardians have 5 or 6, the goddamn Royals have 5 players going. No way in hell should the Royals have 5 guys selected as reserves, and the Orioles only had 1 reserve selected. Westburg, Kimbrel, Santander, and even Ryan O'Hearn should have made the team.
Update: Westburg got in. Taking over for Devers.

lol yeah, the poor Orioles. #1 on most ppl's lists, called the first or second best team in baseball all season long, most ppl's pick to win the WS.... but didn't get the most All Star selections. now imagine rooting for a team that's had to spend an entire month rotating around having the best record in the AL nonstop with that team and barely being noticed in the process getting 5 selections in the AS game, and seeing that first person complaining about not getting enough All Star picks :) haha

As an O's fan it kinda pissed me off but I'm glad none of our pitchers got selected.Give the guys a few days to rest up and come out of the break fresh and ready to bring that trophy to Bmore.

If you are talking about the reserves, then fans do not vote in pitchers or reserves. It's done by player vote and committee. Yes, the O's got screwed over big time. They have the best record in baseball and only have 3 all stars.

The Orioles are disciplined enough to take the ALL-STAR voting with a grain of salt. They need to prove everyone wrong by playing good ball the second half of the season. Doesn’t matter what everyone thinks if you can prove them wrong. Tighten it up Birds. Work hard, make it happen. Make everyone eat crow.
