LED look great! Really glad the black oak was black internally.
It's all looking great - always making such good progress! loving the bog oak
Each week I look forward to these video updates and seeing your progress! It often inspires me to add something else to my to-do list and accomplish an extra task or two.
That’s great to hear :)
Top stuff. I hope one day we get to see one of the first sessions you do in the complete setup.
Just that simple lighting effect elivates the studio (if it could any more) to such a cool and atmospheric live room and it looks amazing watching on TH-cam. Great work, I totally love it!! congrats & stay safe.
For your led, you could replace the controller with an ESP32/8266. Those are inexpensive boards where you could load the WLED project to do whatever you want, depending of the LED strips off course. The controllers are usually very basic and annoying to control. WLED allows you to control over WIFI, you could pilot multiple at once, create profiles or ambiances. I have done one to build some growlights for another project. Feel free to reach out in private, I could give you a hand if required.
Yes I’d love a hand! can you dm me on Instagram?
I think you should use larger ventilation pipes to get the same volume at lower speed, insulate the pipes and put a silencer/muffler between the rooms. Sound will travel between the rooms and the pipes will act as a trumpet otherwise. I have built a number of studios and ventilation is always a big headache to get it quiet. But wow! The room looks really nice. Keep up the good work! 🤩
Hey, there are silencers between all the rooms, we had to go with 200mm because the void between the roof of the booths and the floor of the mezzanine wouldn’t allow any bigger. It seems to be a good compromise to have it turned down low for recording (small groups of people) and crank it up if we have a concert or something where the noise isn’t an issue - thanks for the tips though :)
Great episode!
A pink felt on the snooka table sounds epic, the LEDs at the sockets looks super. :)
It's incredible the amount of work you put in and not to mention the knowledge it takes! The highlight of the week is to see a new video from you.
Hope to stop by one day (I live in northern Sweden) when everything is finished to see it irl.
I wish you all the luck and success in the future and keep up the good work.
Thanks very much, you’d be very welcome to stop by
Nice weekly update, I enjoyed it 😊
I'd love to see you make a guitar out of that black oak !
Great update! And love that Im now added to the famous window! Thanks! Especially love that you spelled my name «øl»vind, which means beer-wind in Norwegian! Hilaruous! Love it🥰Keep pushing!
Whoops! Ok I’ll fix it
Do not bother fixing it! Its cool as is:) Keep making great videos! Hope your week will be happy and productive!
Looking great! And just wondering, what camera are you using? The audio is good and I don't see you using any external mic, right? Sony zv-e1?
@@franckinthestudio Sony a6400 with sigma 14mm lens - mic is an on body sennheiser that I modded so I can instantly swivel it backwards or forwards depending on the shot
And a DJI ronin mini 3 gimbal
Does the LED controller work over the wifi? I find mine don't work if they're supposed to be on 2.4 GHz.
No just a remote control
