Ledecky is so smart and protective of her juniors. At 7:58, her stepping up for Grimes was a class act. She knew the situation they were confronted with was a curved ball, and that Grimes might be stumped by the unfamiliarity of it. And she turned that question about a difficult, painful situation for Grimes into a light-hearted, good natured moment to share with her, and the reporters. Love that girl, Ledecky!

What grace and true humility these two young ladies exhibit all the while being absolute stars. Girls, if you want to know how to act when you’re 15 ……and 25, this is it. Pay attention!
It’s crazy how self aware of the history being written Katie G is at 15:33. I think it’s also very crazy. Womens swimming is so niche,, but they make me so proud to be a swimmer in USA. Records are being broken and stories are being written here in the niche world of contemporary swimming I’m so happy I found my favorite sport!!!!
