The heroes journey Wirtual has been on from making videos telling the tales of trackmania legends accomplishing feats that seemed impossible to him becoming one of those legends has been the highlight of my TH-cam experience. He’s such a king 👑
10:10 I know it's pretty random, but I would just like to tell you that Mexico isn't in south america, they are part of north america, you probably just mixed it with latin america tho
Trackmania was actually invented by the ancient Egyptians when they crossed the mediterranian sea and secretly settled in France. Millenia later it would be rediscovered by Nadeo.
About pyramids. It's fair to say that humans were nomadic for a few thousand years, hunter/gatherers. They spread across the world. Then they settled in a location, one after the other, and built their culture before eventually looking outward for trade and warfare. A point can be made that several civilizations came to similar solutions for a problem. A great civilisation could build pyramids to keep track of the seasons. Obvious solution but with a great potential to hold power over the masses. Then later, trading hubs would open all around the Mediterranean, the silk road, the North Sea and Baltic Sea etc. Rather than looking at the stars, we'd come up with calendars which decentralised a lot of power, but also inspired faith. Ideas would spread for another 1000 years or so until the Crusades, European civilisations too would become empires until people were tired of living in a feudal system. Electricity would start a new era of invention, and now look where we are.
Okay but the theory of Egyptians maybe travelling to the Americas is not solely a conspiracy thing, that's been discussed by academics. Your fellow Norwegian, Thor Heyerdahl, explored this idea with his papyrus boats Ra and Ra II
FYI academics are not in any way immune to conspiracy theories or fantastical thinking. Especially outside of their core field of expertise, but also sometimes even within it. That's why we trust the scientific method over individual scientists.
@@chimpanaIt's not some conspiracy theory or even fantastical thinking. The people of Micronesia found a way to populate islands that are hundreds and thousands of miles apart with boats more primitive than those found in Egypt. A weapon resembling a boomerang was also found among Egyptian artifacts. You only think it's fantastical because you're not very bright.
Holy crap, Nadeo is literally putting in glitches and other unintended things? They've finally said, "We're not going to sit back and let the community outdo us!"?? AWESOME!!
It's not surprising that it took a few maps for Nadeo to make this gamemode seem worth it. From a developer perspective, an official map in most other contexts can't be as hard as player-made maps often are - they're intended for pretty much anyone with average skill to be able to beat them with no respawns after minimal learning. Switching to a mode whose whole concept is the opposite of that, it makes sense the easy maps would be *too* easy, but it seems like they've figured that out.
My theory on why there was an empty sealed sarcophagus is to be a decoy. If there are a lot of decoy sarcophaguses it can deter thieves and looters. Their might have been a sealed empty one still as they might have found the real one and stopped after that.
8:34 The whole pyramid power generation thing reminds me of a fun fact: you can make batteries out of stone. It's kind of new technology but I think we would've noticed if the pyramids stored electric energy like that lol :b
You mean like strapping a dynamo to a rock and rolling it down a hill? That's technically a battery, rechargeable too if you push it back up the hill afterwards. Sisyphus was way ahead of his time.
@@At0mix Lmao no but close enough in terms of complexity - basically it's just hot rocks. Some types of stone can store an insane amount of heat energy which then can be turned back into electricity by conventional means. It takes a lot of space, the conversions have a bunch of loss, and the storage time isn't as good as most types of batteries so it'll likely never find its way into household use... ...But there are some industrial applications where you could have it absorb heat from machinery for example, and the storage time with current technology is still more than half a year so it could well be used as an alternative for renewable energy storage (which economically is the main problem with stuff like wind and solar since they're not as consistent in power generation). Some of the stone types suggested are very abundant so it would bring the cost of those kinds of energy farms down quite a bit, especially as the technology around it develops further
If you're interested in this idea and want a practical current version, look up "blast furnace hot stove." A hot stove is a refractory (fancy rocks) filled pressure vessel (large can) that has a burner heat it up to 1600 C for an hour, then runs cold air in for half an hour. The cold air gets heated to 1200 C and then gets fed into the blast furnace. This "hot blast" is where the blast furnace gets its name.
Good explanation for a sealed sarcophagus with no body is that the cause of death destroyed the body too and they still buried it to symbolically bury them
Please tell me someone knows the song playing in the background at 8:30, it's unlocked a memory for me and I can't place it, I think it was in one of the poke on games but not the mainstream poke on games...
I think this will be a new mode for Deep Dip 3. I mean, the goal still needs to reach all floors in one shot, but the player has a chance to learn a hard floor without having to rerun all the way from the bottom, and the entire series doesn't need to take months. I know some players might not like it, but it's probably a good idea. it doestn mean to have check point on every floor. probably one every 3-5 floors.
Even with checkpoints, these seem like "mini Deep Dips" if you want to get Author Medals on all of them. It is a good concept as you can have your checkpoints to practice each part, but in the end you have to string everything together to get that Author Time
