I'm so glad that you included the Black-backed Woodpecker. They are my favorite and I love seeing them each winter. Really loved seeing the Northern Hawk Owl too, even though they are in my range I've yet to see one in all these years. All wonderful! Great video.

Thanks for watching and for letting us use your Boreal Chickadee Videos! They really came in handy. Those guys are so hard to get videos of for me!

@@BadgerlandBirding No problem! Anytime, I know how difficult those guys are, haha!

If not already doing so, I recommend viewing Sparky Stensaas’ TH-cam channel. I believe he’s a full time naturalist at Sax-Zim and produces great content.

How fascinating! I love them all, but the beautiful subtle colours of the Chickadee are just gorgeous, and I wouldn't call their sound rasping, I think it's very sweet!

The Boreal Chickadee call is definitely a great sound! They aren't necessarily raspy on their own, but when compared to the call of a Black-capped Chickadee they totally are lol

@@BadgerlandBirding I think so too...still very sweet !. Merry Christmas !. I feed my birds a special treat each Christmas like my mom used to do.⛄

I love the chickadee song. 🥰 I've never seen it heard one in the wild, but I had a song which had them singing in the background that I loved listening to growing up.

Thanks for another great video!. The boreal chickadees are so cute. I love the way they say chickadee in their own “accent..”

As usual, a great video! And calling out to all my fellow watchers who are enjoying the m - they're trying to reach 10K subscribers, and frankly should have many more than that! Subscribing is free in every sense of the word, and it really helps them in making more. Let's do this!
