That old Ford sounds straight up badass. I'm not really a Dodge fan by any means but the Ram was pretty nice, too. But in the shot where the Chevy was driving down the road, it sounded like a damn ATV. The Ford won by a long shot.
dude this vid is sick, good job. I cant believe the Dodge isnt true dual, mine has 1 highflow cat 2.25 piping out to a y-pipe no muffler as well and it isnt nearly as loud as that one. All trucks sound good, but the dodge is best in my opinion.
Something isn't right with that Chevy. Really needs different cats i guess. Sounds like shit compared to others I've heard. Dodge sounds the best out of the 3. That 302 didn't sound to bad either.
@@pepeiann Fuel injection has nothing to do with it lol. I had a 97 that was straight piped and that thing sounded like dog shit. All small block Chevy's have the same stupid crackly ass convertors that ruin the whole thing.
IT IS TOTALLY NORMAL!!! nothing is wrong with the chevy. The reason why it sounds like that because its true dual from the factory meaning 4 cylinders for each pipe or each head has its independent pipe while the other 2 trucks have a Y pipe meaning all 8 cylinders combined together for a more muscular sound instead of a machine gun sound like the chevy.
The chevy sound pretty good the Ford sounded a lo t smoother the Dodge was snappy....I own a chevy and love it but I a have to say the Ford sounded the Best
BE PROUD BOYS!!!!! BE PROUD!!! Us Canadians, WE HAVE NOTHING BUT STRAIGHT PIPE TRUCKS OUT HERE. :) :) :) LET ER BUCK! nothing warms my heart more than to hear a snappy thunder exhaust :) FUCK YEAH
joe mama no actually most of the country is conservative, but its the dickweed fucktards in the Toronto area that vote liberal and theres just too many of the cocksuckers
Ford sounded bad ass even with the 5.0 the Chevy sounded pretty snappy and it's not the Audio cause the ford and dodge didn't do that but this is a badass video just proves fords sound the best!
A y-pipe is the piping that connects after your manifolds. Most people with true dual exhaust cut out their y-pipe to make two separate pipe flow. My point is, you probably already have a y pipe from the factory. i would reccomend an x pipe.
The cat on the ford really makes a difference on the way it sounds shockingly enough, I like the sound that it gives off but it just doesn't seem right to me with a cat that's not beat out or no cats at all under it. Just my two cents on the matter.
i like all the truck im a dodge guy myself but im leaning towards the chevy i like true duals that uneven cylinder fire and that sound you hear and you know its true duals. i had a Y pipe i just lost so much power because when you Y pipe its like jumping from a stock pipe to a 5 inch outlet you dont have that pipe velocity to make back pressure. i now have a 08 dakota i was able to true dual it and i love it
Nice, the Ford sounded the best to me (here I am gonna get some people lookin to kill me) but I don't prefer one over the other anymore (Ford, Chevy, Dodge) although I used to prefer Ford, they all have their merits. The Chevy and Dodge (the ford too maybe) could have been louder, but the Chevy and Dodge sounded muffled... like underwater or in a vacuum or something, and the ford sounded nice, but too quiet... maybe it was the video lol
Dodge sounded like it was to loud for the camera to actually catch the true tune. Not gonna lie in person that 360 sounds better straight piped then the 351 or that 350. But nothing sounds better than the 359 6bt
so true, my trucks straight piped and pops and cracks and is loud. My '85 fox body mustang has flowmaster super 40's on it and an h-pipe and is loud enough and sounds beautiful. Wouldn't want to put straight pipes on it to begin with. Only old trucks that are meant for mudding should be straight piped.
@7MossyOak7 Yeah man I know how that is. I just bought 2 highflows off a friend so we'll see how true duals turn out, but I dont see why it shouldnt pass emmissions because if we can pass them with one cat, 2 cats should make it even better, yet making it a lot louder and increasing power because its more free flowing. you should do the same if you want it loud.
Weld an H-pipe into the Chevy and it'll tone up the sound. Tons of guys cut the muffler out and have tailpipes made for true duals, but hardly ever weld in an H-pipe. I did, sounds a lot better than this, much deeper and doesn't have all that popping.
ford sounded the best to me. ive thought about runnin straights on my truck but i dont really like how loud they are. i think ill just run some cherry bomb glasspacks instead to keep it mild until i can get a cam
Ford had a blaring sound, Chevy had a rumble, and Dodge had a bit of both. Personally, I prefer the Chevy sound. Dodge seems to always be the loudest with a lot of blaring sound.
Hell yeah man, right on. I got a 1999 Silverado extended cab long bed, with a Flowmaster series 60 exhaust on it, unfortunately, It's an Automatic, but when your doing about 45 roughly, just shift it into 3rd gear, and listen to that mean ass exhaust backfire with It's heaven-sent sound. FUCKING MUSIC TO MY EARS!
Best part. Competing brands of same era with their motors they compete against each other with all ext cab short box and straight pipes coming out at 45s. Lol bunch of hick buddies doing the good old brand war and competing with each other. All in all 3 nice ass trucks that all sound great, but the dodge definately gets my vote. I like throaty yet rapping all in one and the dodge delivers. Ford is throaty and Chevy is rappy
Does sounded the best but all of them had that loud ass clapping sound especially the Chevy my neighbors kids chevys have that problem of sounding like shit. Me personally I like a smooth deep sounding exhaust without popping and cracking.
Im a chevy guy and hate to admit it but that dodge sounded the best in my opinion.
Lol and now it looks like you’re a dodge fan
Ford, for the win.
Honestly I think the ford sounded the best. The other 2 are really clappers. Once you put headers on the 5.9 it doesn't clap as much
Nah cus the dodge sounds like me on the toilet after a bad day of cheesy Mexican food
nothing beats an old chevy with headers and straight pipes
god bless the American v8 in all of its glory..... but i am a dodge man soooo GOOD DODGE !!!!!!
The ford has its own distinct sound
The dodge sounded like pissed off thunder, it won by a long shot
That old Ford sounds straight up badass. I'm not really a Dodge fan by any means but the Ram was pretty nice, too. But in the shot where the Chevy was driving down the road, it sounded like a damn ATV. The Ford won by a long shot.
No it sounded stock with drilled holes in the muffler, it sounded like shit. Ford sucks
X1XBlackbirdX1X agreed
SledneckMN SHITTY CHEVY AND SHITTY RAM
I'm a chevy guy, but damn, that dodge killed it! I myself have a 85 dodge ram. No muffler, once I get it running, it'll sound beast. Took vid on it
Not very often does someone upload a video that has decent quality, comparisons and descriptions! Great video, the ford sounds best
Well done guys! Best sounding trucks on TH-cam!! NO TRUCK SOUNDS AS GOOD AS THESE three :)
Gotta admit those 302's have power and can last.
Damn. Dodge sounds amazing..love the deep tone
hell i like the way all three trucks sound! it pretty cool seeing the big three getting along and kicking foriegn ass! American all the way!
3 of the best looking trucks of all time, all in one video
Awesome video and descriptions! Hard to find good videos like this!
The Old Ford F150 for the win for sure.
im a die hard chevy fan but damn that ram sounds nice!
the fords awesome, i like the body style and the 302
dont matter the make...gotta love that v8 sound

That's because its straight piped. All mid 90s gm pickups sound like trash straight piped
@@beardedforlife3740 tbi is why the spiders sound great

Can never beat the sound of a healthy V8!
awesome trucks, that's sweet for them to have dual exhaust!!!
Reminds me of high school. Camo and blue jeans and american v8s and kids with strait pipes clappin ears all day

Dodge for sure won
Ford sounded really good
Chevy sounds like my keister after taco bell
I have a Dodge with the 5.9 magnum, but I like the sound of the Ford a little better.
love the sound of that Ford, Dodge sounds good, but the ford still wins because its the only stick.
Ford and the dodge sounded the best
That Ford sound good man!!!
Ikr I agree
"woah it's recording. wtf?" lol
Hell Yeah thats some American V8 music!
I'm a ford guy but the dodge sounded the best.
Chevy has the most aggressive exhaust.
The chevy would have the best sound if she had no cats.
I'm a chevy guy all the way but have to say that the ford sounded the best out of the 3. The dodge and chevy were way too raspy.
07 LMM Dirtymax agreed
I’m a Ford man , but that dang Dodge killing it!!!
Love all 3 but man that dodge is crisp
They all sound frinkin amazing
Ford sounded bad ass even with the 5.0 the Chevy sounded pretty snappy and it's not the Audio cause the ford and dodge didn't do that but this is a badass video just proves fords sound the best!
Imo the 350 5.7 vortec was always stronger than the 351 5.8 litre ford... good video
Got a chevy, but that chevy sounded like a taco Bell restroom stall.
I think they all sounded badass, probably because there all V8's :) theres no replacement for displacement
is the dodge manual? that last downshift sounds so cool!
That's the sound of FREEDOM!
Dodge and chevy both sound good

350 sbc was the best small block v8 ever built
That Silverado sounded the best in my opinion
The chevy sounded like a person that had taco bell :P
Boys and their toys gotta love it!!!!! thumbs up!!
When the Chevy shifted to 2nd it just sounded like a long fart 😂
That Ford sounds the best
Chevy durability with the Dodge sound
the Chevy sounds the best out of the three of them
Thumbs up for that epicness man.
music to my ears!
they all sound badass
Theres nothing that sounds better than a Dodge
The chevy sounds like a moped, dodge is a beast, the ford is also pretty pod sounding
I dont care what anybody says dodge is the best sounding trucks on the planet i got a 97 1500 5.7 straight pipe and no cats
lol nice that u think dodge are the best, butt 5.7 is a chevy motor. 5.2 or a 5.9. i own a 99 5.9
Im a strait up chevy fan but that Dodge sounds the best, imo
those are all healthy sounding trucks but that dodge is the best sounding and loudest!

***** Yeah man, I agree, the 5.9 V8 has an outstanding sound to it :)
Yea im still more if a fan of the 12valve sound regardless nothing like a dodge that sounds like peterbuilt
I have a 95 f150 with the 351w in it. Last year I put 3inch true dual from the manifold's back
I'll give it to the Chevy: you were definetly the loudest of the three. sounds nice!

I'm a chevy guy but the ford and dodge sound way better. Plus the ford is one slick truck!!
Dodge sounds the best, hands down!!!!!
That Chevy sounds like it was shitin not driving
The mic distorts the sound but at idle the dodge engine sound has the edge

the dodge and ford had the best deep sound it didnt sound like clapping like that crappy chevy
lol at the tickkin 350, JUST LISTING TO THAT VALVETRAIN TICK
love the ford
My opinion the Dodge sounds really nice for me to have the Ford and Chevy sounds good to not hating on the video
dont matter what side you pull for..... all three of these trucks are bad fuckin' ass!

see this is life, three friends and their strait piped trucks XD
I just creamed from the sound of that ford
ford sounded the best!

DragoonKnight790 what video did you watch lol
liking the one with the manual transmission
