Nice save!! It lost elevation immediately after you engaged landing flaps. Wise choice to immediately throttle out of that bounce!! It definitely would have tip stalled on you like the Viper90 did. Thanks for sharing the challenges of landing jets at times!!
WE told ya🤷♂️! Nozzles are the best improvement to do! From everything I've seen, the 'flaps' aren't to be used as flaps, but to be used as (on asphalt) landing brakes! As flaps drastically reduces elevon throws. Lastly, it was also designed to be landed slow, hi alpha. I miss mine. BEWARE of the mixing board! & locktite all gear set screws (if u haven't already)
Glad things are working out and thanks for the video. My question is why are you flying from that side of the runway? You're flying is behind you so you have to turn around. And on top of that the brightest part of the sky is behind your plane's landing zone. So you're looking right into it.
When I fly using the hat cam I stand in the middle to fly around me . I am then closer to the plane that way. When my wife films then I stand in the traditional position.
Heartbreaking 😢 I crashed landed mine. Had to replace the front landing gear and bent the strut. PIA to get to the landing gear and light connector on the controller board.
@@old-rcplane-phart Unscrew the top wood tray then the single rear screw. Then grab that 2nd wood board out and the control board is attached to the end of it.
Glad she’s okay. Show the good and the bad. Thanks guy
We learn 10x more from mistakes than victories.
It’s part of the game
Yes but a costley part.

Thanks, I will never use that crow mixing the control board provides. She high Alpha lands fine.
It seems like you had an issue immediately after you deployed the landing flaps. Luckily not much damage and your second landing was beautiful.
Yeah I should have never used that pre programmed mix, i was not ready for that sudden drop.
Got pretty lucky on that one thankfully...
Yeah testament to how hardy this plane is.
You were so lúcky to get away with such little damage, those nozzels certainly make a big dfferance...jeff.
Well a new set of nozzelsare already installed in my "NEW" Raflale hope to maiden soon! or Remaiden as it were.

Yeah i am not sure why I even tried it. Wish I had not.

@@FatGuyFliesRC Makes sense. Thanks for the reply. Happy landings
Great video - tough plane. Just curious - how long is your runway? Thanks!
210 feet. And thanks

Well I got lucky and my rafale is flight ready. Remaiden soon. Yes the controller board is a pain.
Control board/mixing board ($6 @ hh/fms). IF someone would show where it is, I'd buy another Rafale & remove that board!
