I recorded my guitar directly via the Axe fx II in logic pro using usb on top of the original instrumental track.
Tuning: Drop F, low to high; F C F # A# D# G C

hey man nailed the cover i see you answered a couple of string gauge questions when going 12-60 did you use a extra heavy daddario set for that n add the 80 or is it all a custom set?

Incredible playing dude. Why did you decide on Alnico Black Hawks? I know Jon Deiley's 7 string has a ceramic in the bridge and an alnico in the neck.
Thanks a lot! The reason is that I already had the ceramic version in my PRS, so i wanted to try the alnico version. They both sound great!

(Compressor first in the signal chain into -> amp -> cab -> delay -> reverb)

Where can I find the pickup ring to put in a passive mount pickup?
I used an extra that i got from a 7-string PRS, but you should be able to find one quite easy online.

I could image a 56-12 for the 6 or that’s what i use for C standard and for the 7th probably a 74
I use 12-56 for the first 6 strings than an 82 for the lowest

Neuman Elias awesome thanks!! What preset on your Axe do you use for the heavy gain stuff in F? Sounds exactly like Northlane.
No problem! I mainly use the Diezel VH4 "Das metal amp" with input vol set at 3.42, the OD808 with zero drive but level set att 100% to (boost the signal before the amp), the 4x12 recto sm57 cab and also i gate with quite snappy settings.

How did you get the pickup spacing like that? This model has the pickups spaced so close.
I used an ordinary handdrill with a big flat drill to basically do the neck cavity myself! ;)

Sorry i don´t have the logic pro x project for this song left unfortunately. If you are having problem hearing what the guitar is playing i advise you to use the slow down feature on youtube, really handy ;)
