Sorry about my earlier comment, I did respond to you but since I deleted my comment you may not have seen it. I didn't follow your entire process, so I may have missed it. And, I don't know if the Freescan Combo+ has a different workflow or not. It has been my understanding and what I've considered to be best practice, to do a marker scan first and save it off as a separate marker file. And then import that marker file into your scan and then start scanning referencing that marker file. It can help a lot to align scans, I have a bit more experience with another manufacturer's scanners than I do with Shining 3D, but I do have Shining 3D scanning experience as well. There's a little more to doing it well than a lot of people seem to realize. Again, I apologize for my earlier comment.
Yes, technically scanning markers first is best practice, but in the Freescan software, you dont need to save it and then load it, it's just automatically there. Generally, I find scanning markers and data at the same time works fine for our needs, but you definitely have options :)
@@VisionMiner The problem with that is that is that for complete scans of object, it often requires more than one scan and those scans need to be aligned as accurately as possible, so that's where you want the saved marker scan file, for the additional scans and aligning them all. I don't recall right now if Einscan's software allows for multiple scans within the same scan or not, which would be rather gimmicky if it does. Your additive engineer claimed in one video that you guys don't sell customers on things because expectations can be different. But your selling of 3D Scanners isn't nearly as professional as your 3D Printing appears to be. Frankly your expertise is pretty limited or none existent.
I really want a *good* 3d scanner, but don't have even $1,000 to throw at one, much less 17k+. Cool video, though. A how-to for something I'll NEVER be able to afford, but cool nonetheless.
Honestly I’m in love with the freescan trio markers free feature 🤤
One day I’ll be able to afford it 🙏
Scan concave, internal reflective surfaces, like a car headlight.
