Rafael Martinez Was the Fastest 9 Ball Player I’ve ever seen. Greatest stroker of a Cue I’ve ever seen & One of the greatest in his Prime. It’s unfortunate he had some Issues in his Life, lots of twists & turns that took him off of Being one of the greatest of all time. Legendary Player
Rafael spent quite a bit of time up in the Seattle area about 10 years back when I was living there. He's aged some since his glory days, but damn is he still fast! Lol!
Every match I've seen him play he miscues at critical points in the match. He does however have an incredible stroke and is fun to watch. He never quits
Good match,, despite the "click-bait" title. Earl Strickland, Tony Drago, Keith McReady, Joshua Filler, Rodney Morris, even Jayson Shaw all get going at least as fast as these guys.
yea i agree dudes not playing all that fast, a lil upbeat but not fast, ive never heard of these guys before but they both seems to be a pretty straight players; the younger guy i notice holds his arm funny, his forearm is always slanted and wrist bent. People always tell you to align your shoulder to elbow straight in line with the shot and forearm straight down, but this guy dont follow that advice and doesnt doesnt play too bad like that
I've always said that Soufi is what I would aspire to be as a professional pool player. someone who makes quick decisions and doesn't take up all the time to shoot one shot.
Anybody can play fast, but where is efficiency and consistency ? Earl in his prime was the fastest and the most productive, these days you have Filler, Shaw that come close to that.
Almost impossible to watch this due to poor video quality. Can't see the numbers on the ball and the balls seem to have a fuzzy blur. 720p video is definitely sub par even for home use these days.
@@johnjuan5563 it's not what I'm watching it on because there are plenty of pool matches uploaded even 5 to 7 years back that look crisp on my LG. If you look at the video settings, you'll notice that the video quality maxes out at 720p, which is super low especially when the camera is at a fixed distance and there's not zooming to show close-up's, etc. Do you not see a white halo around the balls? Pool is way more exciting to watch when you can see precisely what the players are seeing but in this case I cannot.
@@danender5555 thanks but you missed the main point. The video is just not enjoyable to watch when there's a white halo around the balls. Especially when the camera is mounted at a fixed distance, it's tough to really make out how thin a cut is or how "safe" the safety play is when you can't see the edge of the balls.
@@billiardnetwork Sammy ( not his real name) was a hustler who would get the eight from champions and rob them. He beat Buddy Hall in a race to 100 with the eight and beat Mike Sigel when Sigel was at his peak. He shied away from cameras and publicity. I spent some time with him in the early 90's. He's, in my mind, the best player I've ever seen. He ran 11 racks on me. Beat me 11-0.
@@billiardnetwork If he's still alive and you can find him and get him to agree to do some senior challenge match and get him on tape, it would be a massive contribution to the pool world.
Push out option, special role right after break where you give a difficult shot for opponent to decide if they want to take or give shot back to breaker
Chezka Centeno is at least twice as fast as any other current pro player. She runs a rack of 9 ball faster than it takes the referee to rack the balls.
Wow. Que lastima ! Preciosa mesa, pero las bandas muy burras, increíble. En todo el planeta la fábrica de esta mesa no puede encontrar un hule más rápido ? Con estas mesas, cualquier ciego las mete todas. No mamen !!!!!!!!!!!!!
This the guy who talk trash with Efren on a foul shot. Dont think he is the fastest ever. Strickland in his glory days is still the fastest. Sorry have no respect for him
Tony Drago is the fastest pool player I've seen!! He's playing the second rack half way through the first rack😅
Haha… well Tony is not quite active
Very true!
Everyone is talking about how fast he is, but I’m more impressed at how fast they rack the balls.
This joke is underated
Hahah

He's still playing tournaments in Mexico

@@jlobiafra Yes he does Miscue frequently
That was one of his Drawbacks as a Player
It’s amazing how many difficult safeties were played and both these guys rarely sold out. That’s the difference between great and pro
Don’t forget world Champion Lou “Machine Gun “ Butera.
Play it on 2x speed and it's almost like Soufi is twice as fast!
Haha
Luc Salvas, Lou Butera and Tony Drago are the fastest top players of all time. Soufi is among them but not the fastest.
Oh yes, Luc Salvas! Forgot about him! Lightning fast!

I might add Luc Salvas. He and Drago will run that guy over.
I did a bar box once pretty fast... 31 seconds... th-cam.com/video/KalVEYTUXo4/w-d-xo.html
The only one faster than him is Drago, all the others despite being fast players , do not shoot as fast as Soufi
He has the most accurate draw stroke I have ever seen. Just absolutely extraordinary.
Yes Earl Strickland , Tony Drago ( Special against Josh Filler ) was Even so fast .
mohammad soufi, what a player!I love watching him play
Relax, it'll be ok
Me as well. Great player

A joy to watch
Love watching Soufi play! Nice and fast, although he has a strange stroke. Some shots he rushes too much and misses.
Whew Soufi almost had to add time to his parking meter!
Machine Gun Lou Butera

he just has less long and faster warm up strokes but takes his time
gary newdecker a master from MN is so fast it makes your head spin
how soufi looks at his opponent after the first safety XD
Tony Drago is fastest
He's not in the us

Good match. Efren reyes is the goat. Speed is the only thing he doesn't have which is not necessary 👌
Which one is supposed to be the fast one?
The other one
Tony Drago: No!
Oh, I get it. They fast forward the racking part
He does play fast, but it seems to be more out of lack of patience rather than efficiency.
Let’s get an 8 ball, it will last us all weekend they said 😂
hahah
Dennis Leary lol 😂
I love watching Soufi and Tony Drago after being put to sleep by Kaci and Pagulayan.
He's no Sammy Soto.
But he s won a silver medal at an 9b wC

Bait and switch
even tho Soufi won and was 'fast', Henrique is NO slouch. Imo, he shot faster than Soufi in several games, at least.
All the rest of them pool players that look at the ball for 3 minutes and chalk up 30 times suck. If the don't know their shot, get off the table.
True, if u don’t play a fast attacking game then u probably won’t find sponsorship in a few years time
I miss the days when I could run rack after rack. These latest poll players just can’t run balls for their life.
Those saying he’s faster than drago are mad. Watch drago again he’s down still while ball moving then shoots. This guy isn’t

Kristina Zlateva heart heart
She s so nice
Tony Drago, Luc Salvas, and Lou Butera are faster.
