This is such a lovely and magical location. Jack Spaniels is such a lucky dog to have wonderful parents who expose him to such incredible nature settings. You three are such a lovely family that bring great happiness to us your viewers. 🌻🐕🇺🇸
I have never seen wild roses, amazing! Those old church yard cemeteries are lovely in their own way. Incredible that these locations have existed for so many years. Thank you, thank you, for bringing this beautiful historic places to us. 🥰🌻🐕🇺🇸
Thanks Guadalupe!! Yes, I would never really walk around a modern day cemetery, but the old ones are different - there must be such a variety of amazing stories in them.
Fab as ever! There is something special about how narrow and intimate old roads and gateways used to be... Back when gates were proper ironwork too. I have lots of foxgloves in the garden and the bees love them!
Beautiful coast path. I live in British Columbia Canada but my Grandfather, whom I never knew, was born in Fife and I have a love of all things Scottish. I am enjoying your channel so much…thank you.
Beautiful scenery( I wish my train rides had that view) Adorable splashing Jack, awesome drone footage Willie and Sarah your Foxgloves are stunning! Thank you all.
Lush beautiful trees so green and full of life! The beach was breath taking! We have templates of 47 degrees Celsius today! We can't even use our swimming pools cause the water is too hot, but that lovely beach seemed so refreshing! Wow that Fox gloves painting is stunning! 💙💜💕
Thank you for identifying the flowers. As an American I recognize some but not all of what you have in Scotland. I really enjoy your channel. It’s nice for someone who is mostly chair bound to get out for a “walk”. And I always enjoy watching you paint the end. Give Jack an extra treat from me!
Thanks! I always try and identify the flowers and other things I see, although often I have to text my mum to ask her haha! It's so interesting to find out what does and doesn't grow in other parts of the world and what they are called there :)
Another walk full of memories for me Sarah. A rare family day out at Burntisland beach and both the foxgloves and wild roses brought memories of a cottage we lived in near Saline. Huge bunch of foxgloves (about 20ft sq if I remember) and in the autumn collecting the wild rose hips for the school to send off to be made in to rose hip syrup. Fife really is a much underestimated place when it comes to lovely views and scenery so thanks for what you three do 💝 I loved the painting and yet again Willie has provided the perfect music to sit and relax watching another masterpiece form! That look at the end was definitely 'don't be silly mom - of course I want to go for a walk!' 🤣
Haha! Yeah there was no question about it really was there?! He’s been getting very restless during the day, as it’s now too hot to take him to the park until the evening. Hence the badgering! So glad you enjoyed this video - lovely to bring back happy memories.
Wonderful walk Sarah, as usual. What a beautiful area. Just seen this as have been in Wales all week! Foxglove painting was stunning. Best regards, John.
Walking + Castle + ice cream + puppy + beach, that sounds like the absolute best day ever 😁 and the sun was Shining as well! Beautiful nature on your way, I really loved the waterfall.
Aww thank you so much! It was the perfect evening really - just wish I was brave enough to swim like Jack…Your channel looks really interesting, I just have it a sub 😊👍
That was so much fun, as usual. So beautiful, and I SO want to go there. The ice cream was a great way to start, giving you the energy for the walk. 😉 If only you could somehow tap into Jack's energy...he seems to have an unending supply. ☺ Your painting is another stunner! Thank you again, I enjoy your videos so much. The very last part with Jack was precious. 🥰
I’m obviously a bit biased, but some lovely footage of Pettycur Beach out from Kinghorn on the end. Is a great walk out to the Black Rocks at the right point in the tides.
Such a beautiful location. I love smelling the wild roses. Jack had a great run - he sure loves beach to run and play in the water! I imagine he crashed for the night after that run. Incredible scenery.
Thanks Amber! Yeah Jack was pretty tired after this adventure haha! I still think he would have been up for another run around if we had given him the option though...
We definitely ended our Burntisland vlogging day with that ice cream and started with the amazing cinnamon buns at the bakery but your way works too. Great service in there!
Oh wow! What a great walk that was, and to end it with that incredible sunset was sublime! You must have all slept well that night! Lovely foxglove painting! It was a great choice and you did their beauty justice.☺️👍
Sarah, Last Year my wife Suzan and I planted Foxglove and Lupines behind our apartment, we have the only back yard in this five unit house. This year the season is late, it's been quite chilly, 5 to 15 until lately and now we've had more 10 to 17 days. Now the Lupine is growing well along with the wild and single and double poppies and assorted annuals and Perennials, it almost feels like summer, almost:) I enjoy how well you are bringing the Foxgloves to life. Cheers, Rik Spector
The coast is so beautiful there. Awesome to see the castles and other old buildings. Lovely flowers out there. Jack seems to be having a lot of fun there at the beach. The foxglove painting really turned out nice.
Gelato! memories of Italy! What a stunning location, the aerial views of the castle are amazing. I have never seen Outlander but my late sister was a big fan of the books, maybe with such scenery I will have to give it a go. Your painting, as always, is beautiful, I love foxgloves. It's great watching Jack scampering around, he always makes me smile 😀💗 x
Thanks Amanda! Outlander is a bit of a divisive program - some people absolutely love it an d others not so much! We like it for the historical setting and because it was all filmed in Scotland.
Love the bit along the path where Jack pops out, hey mum look I found water 🤣 Lovely walk, love hearing the history of the area as you go along. Another great painting too, you make it look so simple how you build up the levels 🎨👍
as i enjoyed dinner with my mom this week, i shared the story of your channel and many of your paintings with her. she was quite enchanted, exclaiming how beautiful & detailed they are.
The tourism board of Scotland should be supporting your channel. I would love to travel there. The only stories I know with fox gloves involve murder and the use of digitalis😯. Your painting shows the softness of the flower so well. Amazing talent!
That looked a particularly beautiful, peaceful walk, it might sound odd, but I love walking round old cemeteries, reading inscriptions, and wondering about the lives of the people buried there. Theres an old one quite near me, a lot of the stones are halfway under the dirt themselves because they're so old. The beach, the flowers, and the sky 😍 this time of year I always wish I had a camper van and just travel all over Scotland, theres still so much I've yet to see. Your foxgloves were gorgeous, your paintings of plants and flowers always make me think of the big old botanical books you sometimes see on tv, where every page has a perfectly detailed and lifelike representation of different flowers. (I hope you know what I mean lol). Thank you, Willie, and the water baby for another lovely video. (I've still not spotted Willie in a drone shot yet, I might have to stop playing Where's Willy, he's too good!) 🤗
Beautiful Artwork and area! Amazing you were on such lovely beaches alone! I wish we has stone paths like that here! Such a great place all that greenery and stone works to grab such wonderful textures!
Thank you Debra! Its was incredible to have that beach to ourselves. I think everyone had been there during the day as it was a bank holiday, so they must have all gone home for their dinner!
Jack had a wonderful time. The views are so beautiful. What is the name of the yellow blooming trees? Is it Golden Rain Tree? Roses are common today. We hardly ever see Foxgloves. Your painting turned out beautiful. I am trying to remember the last time I saw any Foxgloves in real life. I don't think I have see any for sale at the greenhouses (hot-houses). Thank you for this video.
Thanks Arvetta! There are so many foxgloves out here at the moment. I think they love the damp Scottish climate :) That tree with the yellow flowers was a laburnum tree (not sure if it has any other names!)
Love your videos. An American here who was in Skye in October.. just one editing suggestion: your subscript would be more readable if you left off the white shadow off your fonts. Just a plain white script with or without a border would be more readable on your black banner background.
It was indeed a peaceful walk. I own ALL the Highlander books, & was also an eager fan awaiting the filming. But, after a few short minutes into the series, I stopped. Multiple disappointments.
I think the Outlander series divides opinion a lot! We like it for the historical setting and because it was all filmed in Scotland, but it's not for everyone!
We definitely ended our Burntisland vlogging day with that ice cream and started with the amazing cinnamon buns at the bakery but your way works too. Great service in there!

Oh and there's a lovely walk on the John muir the other side of the water south queensferry to Linlithgow. You get Roman Ruins, famous stately homes, deer herds, steam trains, a royal Palace and another outlander castle.

You’re very welcome Anna! Thanks for watching 😊
Such a beautiful evening walk. Gorgeous scenery. Loved the drone footage. ❤️
Thanks Penny!! Willie did a great job with the drone on the beach 🤩
Fab as ever! There is something special about how narrow and intimate old roads and gateways used to be... Back when gates were proper ironwork too. I have lots of foxgloves in the garden and the bees love them!
Thanks Richard!

Aww Linda - that sounds really difficult to deal with. We are not used to temperatures like that here!

Gorgeous views! Something for everyone - woodlands, beaches, flora, history. Brilliant. Awesome drone footage on the beach, too.
Thanks Steven! Yes we packed a lot into this walk 😊 So nice to see all the different places along the way!
Love your Water Colours, Sarah ❤
Wonderful walk Sarah, as usual. What a beautiful area. Just seen this as have been in Wales all week!
Foxglove painting was stunning. Best regards, John.
Love foxgloves. My garden is full of them because the deer don't eat them!
Thanks for your videos!
these foxglove flowers are gorgeous! well done! loved this walk…a little something for everyone. happiness is…a wet dog!
Haha yes indeed! Never happier..

Delightful and interesting walk as usual. Your painting is outstanding. Thanks. Suzy AZ USA
Thank you Suzy!! I really enjoyed this painting, so I’m glad you liked it 😊
Sarah,

Someday I'd love to have a dedicated library room with all your lovely watercolors lining the walls.
Aww thanks!!

Awesome walk and a beautiful painting, take care and thank you for sharing 😂😂😂Jack yep definitely walkies👍👏❤️
Haha! It's always time for walkies in Jack's mind :)
You have no idea how much joy this brings. I have MS that has stolen my stamina to walk. Thank you so very much

Yes so incredible - I had no idea until I started researching them!
I told Willie to make it official. I feel like your grammie

Thanks Scott! Yeah we have been discussing visiting one or other of the Queensferrys soon, plus Linlithgow would be awesome to film 😀👍
