Finally! A help video that is to the point and actually resolves the issue! I clean the Euvy out at least once a week, I never knew that cap pops off. It was packed with hair and dust. Good to know!
Thank you so much! This worked a treat for my X8! The end looks slightly different to yours (hexagon shaped with a small metal centre) but it still came off and had so much hair in there! It’s now working perfectly (without stopping every minute with a roller brush error!) Thank you again!!
If you’re Momma ever told you that you were a clever boy, she was right! 😊. After taking out and cleaning the roller ball, calling Eufy support and being told to reset (and recycle if that didn’t work) I wanted to give my old faithful Eufy 11S another chance - went on TH-cam to look for answers and stumbled onto your video. I tried your technique and voila! My 4 year old Eufy 11S (which, according to the support lady only lives on average to be about 3) has a new life. Why don’t they tell people about the roller brush problem and the cap that comes off? You just saved me a couple of hundred bucks. Bless your clever heart! 🙏🏻👍🏻
After spending nearly 4-5 hours in trying to fix by watching several other videos, this trick worked like a charm. You just saved hundreds of my dollars. Thanks so much. It was hard to open that cap as it was very dirty from inside. I manages to open it by pulling it using that pointed portion of nailcutter 😊
Wow this was actually my problem and totally fixed it, thank you! For others: I needed torque lock pliers to get the cap off. Don't apply too much pressure on the lock or you'll crack the cover.

Thanks for the vid. Super helpful! Actually you could go a step further, you could pop out the wheel bearing. Just find a flat head or to pry it out. It would be easier to do that. All the hair and dust is trapped there and hard to pull out

My Eufy doesn't have a separate cap, but you can push the bolt/ ballbearing out really easily and boy! There's a lot of dirt and hair in there. Looks like something an owl coughed up 😂. Für alle deutschsprachigen: mein Eufy hat keine Kappe wie hier im Video, aber das Element am Ende der Rundbürste lässt sich abziehen und der Bolzen/ Kugellager lässt sich rausdrücken. Bei mir war ein richtiges Gewölle drin.
thanks for this, it worked for me. Just another tip, you can prize the steel bearing out with a flat screwdriver. When you do this you can then easily remove the bucketloads of hair you will find behind it without any hassle. P.S. I had to gently use vise grips to get the plastic cap off in the first place
Ty, I think this is my problem. I have a green end & an orange end on mine, nether will bulge. It's all cleaned out but the brush roll isn't moving at all

I was about ready to open the whole thing up and start checking the motor and gearing. Damn near nowhere else, Eufy official documentation or otherwise, does it mention this brush end bearing. I thought that end cap was one solid piece!
I did this and the cap side cleaned spins freely thank you. However it still is difficult tk move and i getvthe red light and beep error, any suggestions? New motor?
The way you pull the plastic cap off at 00:30, how do you do that? i have been trying everything to get mine off from using tools to pulling. It looks like it should pull off easily but it won't come off.
I had to grip it quite tight with pliers and pull away from itself. Lots of gunk built up underneath and hair! I sprayed lubrication on it and it spins so much better.
@@MelissaCastMine is same. Keeps telling me the brush stuck. I have tried this one and took apart the whole machine. Got all the debris out. Still would run 5 min and stop. I am going to get a new battery because I think it might be battery is weak. It is going to trash of that doesn’t work.

If you don't have a cap you can pull the entire thing off anyway. Then you push out the bolt that is actually a kind of ballbearing.
What model is that on? On my G30 Edge, nothing on the brush separates.

Didn't work for me on the G30 Edge. There aren't any caps to remove either. In fact, removing the brush produces the same "error S5".
