  • Michael Bisping looks into What's NEXT For UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira after his head kick knockout vs Jiri Prochazka at UFC 303? Is it a move in weight division to fight UFC Heavyweight Champions Jon Jones or Tom Aspinall or should he stay at Light Heavyweight then defend against Magomed Ankalaev. Regardless, the betting odds don't seem to favor the current champion in any of his next fights.

Guys. First of all, he does. He’s marketing a fight upcoming. He has nothing to lose by defending Jons spot. By NOT saying a champion who successfully defended isn’t higher than another champion, he’s not actively diluting anyone. You could say he’s limiting someone’s shine. That’s fair. But he’s trying to send stipe off with a big pay day while keeping the shine on his heavyweight champion. You get that right?
Moreover, anecdotally if you thought a guy in heavyweight WAS the greatest of all time, and he’s currently fighting, he WOULD BE P4P. I don’t think it’s outlandish to say Jon is someone’s legit goat. Not mine but I can understand. He’s already a heavyweight. If he’s someone goat, then he’s of course in their eyes P4P. If that’s confusing it makes sense bc you likely don’t have Jon as your goat. Fair enough but that’s what’s happening here
