Before they did, nothing was going right, businessmen were suffering and the people were suffering even more. The records showed death rates and poverty were at an all time high. However, the new government started reversing that and started rebuilding guyana at a rapid rate. As a mixed race Guyanese American, my vote goes to PPP/C. I am happy with the way the ecomony is now compared the the stagnant one of the previous government.
