In Russian we have quite a big bunch of prepositions after the verbs of motion. There are 6: ИЗ, С, ОТ, К, НА, В.

So... Парк, which I would think as being more of an open space, is considered a place with borders, which is also true, and it is used предлог В. What about стадион? I know that it is used На, and that is it considered an open space. But it is also a well-defined space, as парк is. Are these considered exceptions?

Yes, just take as it is. В парке. В лесу (in the forest - also as if it has borders). Но: на стадионе.

For example, B Украине или на Украине.
