MAGA dad - he's a toad. An ugly toad. And let's face facts - princesses don't pick up ugly things. So the toad has to pretend he's a frog to get the princess to make him into a prince. Our toad has to pretend he's a frog (hard work, but doable, the princess is deemed worth the work) so he can become a prince, but only momentarily. Because pretending he's a prince is even harder work than pretending he's a frog. So the prince facade drops very quickly, with the frog lasting longer but still dropping to reveal the toad that actually existed. By which time, the use of psychological violence, along with the threats of physical violence, has our princess cowed and frightened for her life. Or maybe being in a violent relationship is preferable to not being in any relationship - period - to our princess. That's why she stays. Women and children are NOT PROPERTY. WE'RE HUMANS, PEOPLE. I'll never forget a cousin complaining to me that his sons rarely spoke to him and his daughter and none of his grand-daughters would come to visit him and hardly ever speak to him. He kept saying how miserable he was and asking why would they abandon him. I told him I guess they got tired of being told every time he talked to them that he loved Donald Trump and MAGA more than he loved them. Same here, the women have fought hard for anything they ever get. Know way in the world would I let them live without someone who has their back. I’ve stay outside all day, into the evening making good and sure they’re warm, and fed. Believe me , there is a shitload to do. Some may feel the same, but they don’t do it, shame, they have an understanding of life we can only guess. But guessing and excuses don’t get a darn thing done.
