those bass runs during the acoustic break are some of the most beautiful runs ive ever heard
That bass on the acoustic part is just an incredible feel
Man I binged the entire channel this week! Watching these really gets my fingers itching and I usually hop into my DAW immediately after! Awesome videos dude
Thanks so much! I'm glad you're enjoying the series!
Once that acoustic was brought in, it gave me such Time Travelers & Bonfires feels (Sevendust's semi-acoustic album). So good.
Thanks! That's a great album!
Maaaaaan, those acoustic guitars gave a special taste to this Thick Riff Thursday, sounds soo good, always a pleasure be here wacthing TRT, i never get tired!
Cauã, we love reading your comments every week!😄Now we get sad when you don't call him "Nib" hahaha
@camilla.e77 Oooh my God, hahaha tell my dear Nib Kroomhal that it won't happen again, i really appreciate all the love and really warms my heart knowing that i bring joy in your thurdays, that really made my day, much love! 🖤
NEW THICC RIFFS LESS GO
we need some thicc riff thursday thall
thall thursday
Nick. You’re absolutely insane. Give us another release man
Thumbs up if you’d wear a TRT shirt on appropriate days of the week…
Gahhhh, this is giving me an alternate universe version of early Adema vibes! I love this, bro!
This is perfect to just jam at the top of a mountain top and SCREAM at the world. Highly recommended. 🙌🏽
If/when you do this, please send me a video 😂
This rubbed my brain in a good way. Everything to my ear was perfect in my honest opinion!
Nick, I go back and listen to all of these TRT’s, I’ve learned a lot about producing my own stuff. You have a really great sense of melody and groove, which I think is lacking in a lot of the technical metal I hear, even when your riffs get nasty, which I love. But what I came here to say though is that acoustic riff at the end along with the bass and lead part is really beautiful man, really moving. I’d love to learn how to play it. Keep up the great work, love your stuff.
You’ve quickly become one of my all time favourite TH-cam channels. No bullshit, sick music, great videos.
Acoustic section goes hard. Would be great as a full song
Getting real HIL vibes in the end. Love it.
This thing sounds huge man. Thursdays are my favourite day
🤘
I can see this as like a main theme to some crazy video game almost assassins creed like lol
This is my favorite thiccy yet. So good!
I could listen to you play that acoustic guitar for years, what a beautiful tone!
Thanks man! Yeah, it's such a nice sounding guitar. Definitely going to record it more often.
Acoustic thick riff?
Thank you for doing these videos, they've really helped me become motivated to make more music and enjoy it. Don't stop creating!
Thank you! I'm so glad they've motivated you. That's the goal!
@@nickbroomhallmusic Absolute legend
New to the channel. DAYUM you come up with some good stuff. I'm head bobbing along no problem. 😂
Every Thursday gets better
Thank you 🥲
amazing!
I’ve loved this series and this has turned absolutely huge
so catchy
damn that acoustic sounds heavenly
Man, I'm about to post a 10-hour video on TH-cam with just the acoustic guitar part. This is beautiful 🤌🏽
just found your channel and dude i LOVE your content/editing/workflow
I enjoy watching you write music man, love your music bro ! Keep going ! Cheers 🍻
This is my favorite one yet… and yes, the acoustic absolutely slaps.
Let's go!! 🤘🦖
Went out and downloaded your presets for Archetype Nolly. Holy shit they rip so hard. I hope you don’t mind if I use them on all of my projects
After the acoustic part: swell, back to the first riff :)
Sick man! Love your stuff!
dude you are SUCH a good songwriter, i would kill to write songs like you
FIRST! Man I was looking forward to this. :D
🎉🎉🎉
My favourite series on TH-cam atm ❤
Thanks dude!
Killer as always, I had been wondering if you ever played that acoustic behind you. Sounds great man
After the acoustic part, a riser into the full band would be sweet - leading into a drum part where the stack is on the off beat like a Matt Greiner of August Burns Red type beat for just a few bars to spice it up.
We need a tutorial on recording acoustic 😮 my recordings always sound so thin but this is incredible
Same, I was scrutinizing every little EQ move he was doing to try to replicate it 😄
DAMN. Fellow producer, came here for some beats and shit and left with carcasses. Much love, and thank you.
🧟♂
I was hoping you did some sort of lead in the acoustic part and then you did it with the bass 🥵
also also the accoustic bits remind me of a Zelda/JRPG loading screen or hub world.
What tuning do you have that acoustic in? It sounds awesome! I’d love to try it out
Really hope to see a djenty version of the song I tagged you in on TikTok the other day.
Love this man keep it up! 🤘 out of curiosity, how do you have everything set up to record video and audio with the audio from the computer too?
Hey man! Recently started jamming hard on your stuff. Love them thick riff thursdays. Have you thought about making your templates available? And perhaps your sidechains and post productions? Not Architect Tiger Studios quality I guess but maybe the TH-cam quality ones for song writing? :o
The acoustic part is freaking awesome, but I kinda want to hear what that lead line sounds like with a really spacey clean tone electric.
Oooh that could be cool
Hey Nick, what tuning is that acoustic in? Open C? Those chords are beautiful.
What’s your processing for Modern and Massive? I’ve yet to get a useable drum tone from it. P4 was effortless, but M&M just always sounds funny.
Is there any way I can listen to these thick riffs after they are done?
I wish I was as good as you on a midi pad😭😭
haha thanks, I just got used to programming stuff this way!
What guitar pick are you rocking?
The John Petrucci Jazz IIIs!
sounds great.. What tuning is that acoustic in?
Thanks! It's CGCFGC, so DADGAD but a whole step down
Recently i bought a similar midi controller (Alesis V49 MKI), im guitarist not piano player, in the internet i see other people says, this keyboard is horrible, but my opinion are the essencial, what is your opinion? Sorry my English! Im From Portugal!
PS: Nice music project you play so good!
What mic is that?
Not sure what camera you're using but could be cool to get a dummy battery so that your camera doesn't die on you.
Plans to release any of these as a collection on Spotify or something?
Only if they turn into full songs!
Gahhhh I need these on loop!
TRT 🦂🦂🦂
What tuning are you using on the acoustic guitar?
CGCFGC
stellar production. i know my opinion isn't really needed but here it is anyway. instead of acoustic guitar at the end, just develop a good bass and drum mainly outro with some wild guitar stuff. the acoustic sounds like an afterthought. a really good after-thought but, maybe better in a song where its the featured instrument. we,re all armchair producers aren't we. lol
Thanks! I was actually thinking of developing the acoustic part into a whole section as opposed to just an outro!
@@nickbroomhallmusic exactly. that was the 2nd thought. the acoustic thing is sweet. do that. ;-)
What tuning is the acoustic guitar in?
It's CGCFGC, so DADGAD but a whole step down
