I think Jon Moss revealed that it was his eyes that first caused him to tumble for him. It must’ve been quite a bit of a head-fuck for Jon Moss. However it was those beautifully androgynous eyes that made Boy George so pretty.....so Jon Moss dealt with the aforementioned head-fuck....by fucking him.
My mother loved Boy George and would always talk about how handsome he was and still is! My mom passed away in 1984 but her admiration for Boy George lives on in others. Thank you to Boy George for entertaining us in years past, and for many years to come.
My mother loved him too. She was in her 40s when he became popular and introduced his music into our home. She passed away 20 years ago. Ironically this year I had the rare opportunity to meet him when he toured. I did it thinking of her. She would have been jealous I'm sure😂 but happy I did at the same time.
I freaking LOVE Boy George!! His look, his voice, his charm and sense of humor, he just seems to be such a funny, kind, sweet person with just the right amount of cheek. I'm so glad he's back and healthy, and I hope to catch a reunion concert in the near future. 😘
Intelligent, coherent, smart, witty, have a great sense of humor, what else you expect from this beautiful creature? He is enough for me, more than enough! Thanks heaven we have him in this world!
He was a dear friend , first met at a club in NYC in '85 when I was modeling, out with my agent and another model I lived with. We had such fun, all the speculation, is he Bi, (I was the token straight friend)..all the guys at my agency figured I had to be Gay running about with George. I'll say this, one of the kindest men you'll ever meet, quick-witted and a hauntingly beautiful voice in person.
Love Boy George, not only his music and his beautiful voice, hes very witty and has a great personality,he is very nice man and his style is just so diffrent and unique love his styles of hats!!! No wonder he's been around this long, Keep going boy George for ad long as you can!!!! Luv ya!!
I loved him when he first came to the 80's, but then I saw Pete burns of dead or alive and I loved Pete more..... but now I realize they were cut from the same cloth and Pete's gone now... George even paid for Pete's funeral.... Now that's a man with real love in his heart....
I Remember Seeing Boy George On Top Of The Pops For The 1st Time And Fell In Love With Him Omg...Those Beautifull Eye's... And His Music....Even Today..He Is Just A Legend.
They all said it nicely, but Freddy said it best. What a personality George has. Killer sense of humor and charm to match. He's a wonderful complete package. ;-) ;-) ;-)
I'm was a black little girl growing up in the ghetto when he came out and let me tell you, me and most black people in the hood even loved some Boy George. I think his appeal is tied to the fact that his voice was so naturally soulful and silky and he wrote outstanding songs! He also has a pure spirit of non judgement and acceptance and we felt that!
My beautiful Dad (RIP) was really high up in the British Army and was the Director of Music for many bands. He had perfect pitch and could play every instrument professionally. I fell in love with George as a little girl in the 80s living in Hong Kong, and Culture Club made it on the six o'clock news. Well, that was it, I was obsessed. Of course, my Dad was forced to listen to all of my teen music but he rated George's voice and talent above them all, saying he had a fantastic voice and an "interesting" image (lol - Dad was a bit of a traditionalist as you may imagine). Of course, he was all about the 'Big Band' - but he was always a brilliant jazz musician and fan at heart and that's where he began as a young man playing clubs in Glasgow. Still adore George and love that he turned things around with such grace when things got hairy in life, as they often do. One of the greats. x
Many of these stars were very important then and now. Its no surprise the big ones could see him. Millions of kids like zombies after him. Its such a priviledge to hear his music or follow his twitter or even owning clothing designed by him. We are really really so lucky. Anyone who enjoys the good things of life can certainly appreciatte him. He has the midas touch everything he turns it in gold
Good to see all culture club member still together...thank you so much for the music guys..they are still beautiful ...I grew up with your music..and with all 80s music..ever so grateful for that..Freddie was so right...you guys stayed
Freddie oh yes ❤🌟 Boy George so unique l❤ve him n how lucky we are to have him in Australia doing the Voice George so proud of all you've done do a gentle soul n your style 💙💙💙💙🌹🌹🌹🎉🎉
Let`s not forget how big Boy George was AND is.He`s met everybody;Michael Jackson,Eurythmics,Prince,James Brown,Aretha Franklin,George Michael,...I mean "EVERYBODY".A true Icon. His voice has only become more mature in its sound by time. He`s big.LOVE HIM.When I grew up everybody was CRACY about Boy George/Culture Club.
back in the day when Boy George sang Karma Chameleon, which sold 5 million singles and there were 584 MILLION views of the official video - and today (2021) he's still going strong & still loved by millions
We absolutely love you Boy Did you ever think you'd make it this far? I bet you is hit-or-miss there for a while. Being openly gay during that era had to have been just difficult for you. But angel you made it now we love you you are a music icon
I love BG. He makes me realise who I am and accepted the way it is. He gives me the courage to come out to my family 27 years ago and btw I am 50 now. Thank BG!
I love how sweet and humble Boy George seems. I really hope I'll get to meet him, someday. 💖 He inspires me so much, and that's really saying something, considering I don't have that many role models. By the way, to be able to intimidate MADONNA with your style... Wow...
I'm a Fan!! I've met him!! In a small club on the top floor of Circle Center Mall (& they put him in a motel & later on his on/off again friend Peter Burns of Dead or Alive (You Spin Me Round Round) & the band (I've never seen Higher HAIR) cornered me in Our Place Bar bitching about the place & Refused to preform or stay in a motel (allegedly I reminded him of a family member he could vent to!? LOL Somebody help with the name of the club's name up there years ago SO nice SO kind Down to earth (just as Adam Lambert put it) During Cheapness & Beauty album time 95 Karma karma 💜
It is funny to watch this, because when I became a fan as a teenager in the 90'ies, all my friends thought I was so weird for liking Boy George and Culture Club. No one knew who he was, so I kind of thought they were this obscure band that no one really knew about. Turns out, that is not the case ;)
Fluffy123 same here. I “discovered” him when I was 14 in 1998 and thought I was one of only a few people who knew of him until of course I finally saw him in concert in 2000 and how many people were there (in NYC) to see him
George, I'm no one significant, but never forget how bright your beacon shines. I'm 49 on 7/22, we are married 30 years & I am Autistic. We have 2 Autistic sons 12 & 14, & a 19 yro daughter who won't have anything to do with us. I may not be a gay woman or man, but I have lived to have to be seen as a 'freak" all my life; so don't think I don't know your inner feeling. 'WE' both grew strong out of having been made to feel so weak! YOU keep "smashin' those ceiling," 'Boy'; there's a 'Girl' out here who's luvin' every minute of it!!!! #LYRXLUVR
Wot u see is wot u get , George never sugar coats anything . And the voice has got better with age , he’d hate this , but he’s become a national treasure . Put the kettle on , let’s have a nice cuppa tea .
I remember DOLLY PARTON....wanting to do a duet with him...there is a you tube video of Dionne Warwick and him doing a duet with him where she swoons....Love ya BOY !!!!!
You should do a part 2 video! Kelly Rowland talked about him while commenting on becoming a judge on The Voice Australia. And in London Goldie Hawn talked about going to a sold out CC show and how much she enjoyed it. She was on tv sitting right next to him.

I share all views of Legend George in this video and following comments. One thing I have been analyzing, is his dance and postures. They are so unique and beautiful. i don't think these postures can be learnt. He s also talented in postures and dance. one more praise to him.
Im a huge fan of Aaliyah and was SHOCKED finding out she was a CC/George fan! She was born in 79 so was only 3 when they hit it big but hey she was around in the 80s and I wasnt. I was only 9 when she died.
