Its not about the cities, it's all about the owner of the team. You build a team and you have credits if you get the championship. Even if they change the name of their team

Unpopular opinion, if a team moves cities, the championships they won before the move are vacated from their total. Warriors won 2 in Philly, and 5 in Cali. It's separate. So Boston by far has the most in the same city. Unbelievable.
