Why would you bother about wanting someone in your sixties?? Relationships are overrated and can cause unnecessary stress and drama in your life, especially if that person isn’t right for you. Society has pushed the narrative that once you’re in your mid teens and early twenties everyone should be in or actively looking for a relationship. I’m 55 and looking back most of the time I did not want the men I dated or had relationships with. I just did it to go along with the flow of what was expected of you by your relatives, female friends and work colleagues and at times it made me extremely unhappy and even put up with domestic abuse for several years for that same reason of being seen as “normal” and not some sad, lonely singleton, even though I Iove my own company. Eventually at 45 I became single again after I broke away from my abusive relationship and was alone for about 4 or 5 months before I met a man who lived in the next street to me when we were younger and went to the same school. We arranged to meet up for a coffee and that was that we are still together and best of friends and I think he is the love of my life who I should have been with years ago and he said the same. It would have stopped all the unnecessary stress we both had been through by being with people that we didn’t want or even liked.
So what? all real people go through this it is part of growing old. Lets hope she does not get a real problem and you have to have something taken off (breast) to save your life.
Why worry, does she think a man in her age group will look 21 again..........men grow older too... and look it ! Take your glasses off, it works wonders !! 😂 ❤ !!
I’m in my 60s single and more at piece than I’ve ever been, I’ll be single for the rest of my life, by choice.
