- Preliminary results of Thailand's general elections are out. As expected, opposition parties have crashed the incumbent military-bunked government of Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-Cha by a huge margin with opposition parties securing the wind.

It's a Thailand election, The MFP(Move forward party) with other opposition parties is dominating a large majority of the votes against the old government(coup d'etat) backed by the military. As Thai myself, I'm very happy right now but there is the senator that was handed pick by the old government about 250 seats could also choose who will be next the prime minister. So It's literally like 0:250 from the start :(

People have become so naive... People have become so naive...! People have become so naive...! Even before forming his government he announced that he would support guerrilla warfare in a neighboring country (in Burma Act).
Thailand has its problems, it is an industrial country, it is a tourist country that has a lot of problem itself, with also a guerrilla problem.
AND The first thing he will do is take care of the affairs of a neighbouring country and he says why he is going to do it.
He says he will apply the decree of the "Burma Act" which is not a Thai document, but a document of American diplomacy.
So this progressive party, which looks more like pro-American, was set there to destabilize a country that is allied with China (which is Burma). And that's the first thing they do and decide!
Thailand needs tranquility, needs its Tourism which has China as its first economic partner and which goes to war against China without ever having consulted its population.
So unless you're deaf or blind that's the first thing they say.
I don't understand how Prayut does not regain the Prime Minister position for his remainder 2 years!!!!
Prayut has the senate(250 votes) his party (36 votes) deputy premier(41) votes = 327! add in Bhumjaithai (70 votes) and bingo you have the majority!
Bhumjaithgthai party are the king makers!
The senate is a separate voting block.

If move forward is willing to concede on lesse masjeste I don't think it's impossible to say anutin wouldn't be considering joining their coalition
