  • A dessert so good we call it Sex in a Pan.
This 4 layer cake is the quickest, easiest, and yummiest dessert you will ever have, I promise.
With a pecan crust, followed by a rich cream cheese layer, some chocolate pudding in the middle, and cool whip to top it all off, you cannot go wrong with Sex in a Pan!
    ______________
    🎂 Sex in a Pan
    🥣 Ingredients
    2 cups pecans
    1 cup flour
    ½ cup butter, melted
    2 bricks of cream cheese
    2 cups icing sugar
    1 package instant vanilla pudding
    1 package instant chocolate pudding
    3 cups milk
    1 container Cool whip
    🗺 Directions
    1️⃣ Pecan Crust
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Finely grind the pecans and combine with flour and melted butter. Mix together with your hands until all the ingredients can clump together and hold their shape. In a 9 x 12 inch pan, evenly flatten the mixture, pressing down with the palm of your hand. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes. You want the crust to be nice and toasted in colour.
    2️⃣ Cream Cheese
In a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, beat the cream cheese. Scrape down the sides and add the icing sugar and vanilla. Continue to mix until it has a creamy consistency. Add half the Cool Whip container and mix until well combined. Set to the side.
    3️⃣ Pudding
Prepare the pudding based on the instructions on the package. I like to reduce the milk from 4 cups to 3 cups to ensure a thicker consistency.
    4️⃣ Cool Whip
    That’s it, that’s all.
    🔢 Put it all together
Once the crust has cooled, evenly distribute the cream cheese mixture, and do the same thing with the pudding layer. Top it all off with Cool Whip. You can serve it right away, but it is much easier to cut after it has cooled in the fridge for a few hours or overnight. Serve with a whole pecan on top, a grated pecan, grated chocolate, or a combination of all three!

    🌟 Review and Tips
If you are using a different sized pan, take your whole pecans and ensure they evenly cover the bottom of the pan.
With that being said, you can keep the same measurements as listed above, your layers might just be a little thicker (which isn’t a bad thing!).
If you don’t want to use pecans, you can substitute them for crushed graham crackers. Same goes for many of the ingredients. Want to make it a little healthier? Use whipped cream instead of Cool Whip or almond flour instead of white flour.
Some people like to separate the vanilla and chocolate puddings into two separate layers. I think it looks a little nicer when you mix them together, but it’s up to you!
On the topic of pudding, don’t like vanilla? Use chocolate. Don’t like chocolate? Use vanilla. Don’t like either? Choose your favourite flavour altogether.
We made this cake in a 12” round spring loaded pan and it was great! I would recommend doing this if you plan on not having any leftovers. It's a little hard to put the cake back in the pan as it needs some supporting walls to keep it together.
I promise, no matter how or what you put in this cake it will taste great, you got this!

I came to know this dessert in college, I spent the weekend at a friend's house. Oooh yes it's good .
I've been making this since the 80's.

Can you use mixed nuts like cashews, almonds, pistachios, pecans together as I have a whole bag of mixed nuts?

Hate to tell u but this recipe has been the same for years. My mother in law use to make it for 30 years so u didn't create this recipe. Make a recipe u create

Never said I created it. Who knows, maybe your mother-in-law was the one who wrote the recipe down and gave it to my mom!

She never once said that she created it. She said someone wrote the recipe on a napkin and her mom has made it for years.
