hello, in general on chest it's better than shoulder. But the 11 does a very good job on stabilization, specially with horizon alignment, so even on shoulder can be a good solution. And you can easily point something grabbing the shoulder pad with your hand.

yes, but that model is not good for GoPro 8 or later
