I've never been to the N.O, but after watching this, I feel slightly more comfortable experiencing the city outside of Bourbon street. The reputation is what makes me second guess going to certain areas that I want see.
New Orleans is not dangerous as the media makes it out to be! I grew up in New Orleans in the 90’s when it was really BAD! And all the projects were up and active. Killers killed killers, never heard of a home invasion until I moved to Atlanta. New Orleans is small but big at the same time. You can grow up in the 9th Ward and never go past Bourbon Street /MLK and vice versa
Black owned business wont thrive until there are more black homeowners. Which can only be helped through politics-- specifically for black americans. Especially since redlining specifically targeted black americans. Unfortunately there is no political party willing to do that.
Until they get dollars from there people. The money in Melanated communities go to Chinese, Arabs other immigrants. THE $$$$ is definitely there just not the mindset
I gotta pull up next time I go home. And shout out to all my NOLA people that’s doing big things and making the impossible possible. Much Respect Real Talk
He BLACK bruh … Everything come from black even different races. There are white looking black people in this world that literally look almost 100% white & I’m not just talking about skin color ..
