    Awesome distinction thank you sifu. When the person tries to escape your sticky hands, that's when you strike. As you said, that's the trap, the person thinks they are getting away, but they are moving right into your strikes.

    I think after all the punch training, in the end, the standing grapple/strike zone is the sweet spot. Every 1 second you buy yourself becomes a dominant win. The more you add up the better. I also count ANY punch the enemy cannot see or flinch to as a "shadow strike". A shadow strike is simply any punch the enemy senses did not react to. (they say the punch that KO's you is the one you didnt see or look at)
