I’ve bought parts from China and I’ve bought those same items from here in the U.S and the cost is almost dollar for dollar when I pay shipping and taxes. Bottom line is Trump is right and those taxes haven’t changed my pricing! I’ve still got to compete with other welding shops to sell my products! I think allowing U.S made parts to be competitive with overseas distributors is a good thing. FYI it puts all of us on the same playing field.
