I was a little sad I missed the premier but I had to work tonight. It's a lot of fun watching these vids 'cause it shows just what it takes to build these things. Seems like a funny coincidence, that this truck, the 5700, like the 2010 Camaro for BumbleBee, was not in production when they first appeared on screen for Transformers.

We appreciate the candid question! We run several other businesses (non related) that help keep us going. But you're right - this thing is NOT cheap to maintain. As a fan of both the movies and the original 1984 Cartoon I like what you have done. I too bought a truck and gave it the name of one of the OG Autobots. Since I can't own a Toyota Hilux camper in the US I decided to make my 1997 F-350 what Michael Bay might have used had he used the character Trail Breaker in his series. The truck is tough looking already and has the growl of a diesel power plant.

My 2022 experience was not good I went through depression from relationships and lost lots of my friends couple months later my dog died she's was 18 months old and I had insomnia to make it worst I got kicked out 1 of my houses on Christmas. Optimus Prime was my childhood hero I see nobody more badass heroic and I think lots of us see a father figure. because he's alway been there for everybody and he's speeches feel like he's talking to the viewer 24:31 time stamp actually made me cry so Thank you so much. :)

Having seen this truck in person, I can tell you, the differences didn't mean anything.... I was instantly a kid on my grandmother's living room floor demanding Optimus level Megatron... I grew up with the cab over version of Optimus, but, this one elicits that same emotion....

They Made the Changes to the Hood I saw on another video so it can be easier to drive the truck I know one of the 2 trucks. One is the Stunt truck which is street Legal and then the Beauty truck which had the custom interior. Stunt truck Optimus has a normal interior. When it’s in street mode they put mud flaps on it, normal truck mirrors and a switch to have the lights go from Blue to Amber. I noticed they put a light bar on it too. I’m actually wondering since these are newer trucks. Where do they put the DEF fluid? I don’t see a DEF tank anywhere.
When you met screen used Optimus, were you not only allowed to see inside from driver seat perspective, but also take him for a very brief spin in the parking lot? Just curious, though I thought that would've been a very epic & awesome moment for you in Team Prime history!
I saw a truck like these on the freeway in northern California. Video on my channel. Hard to see but if you look, it is visible traveling the other direction
It's a dump down setup. Comes out the bottom below the cab. Very popular on the newer trucks. Yes they burn cooler but can still get extremely hot...such as when the truck regenerates
They changes some things on the front end like lowering the hood scoop for safety reasons. Some say they changes up the front logo because they didn't like that a replica was being made and wanted to be different. Or so I'm told lol 🤷♂️ Either way I do appreciate the compliment thank you!

To think this isn't even the original Optimus. Growing up watching transformers kids now days will never know how cool Optimus was back then with a snub nose an the trailer was a mobile operation base. Even Megatron was so cool he become a if I remember a .45 handgun that star scream would shoot at auto bots with.
The original will always be the best. We're just happy the Transformers are still around 35+ years later. Optimus is forever our hero, regardless of whatever outer shell preference people have 🤙👍
Aren’t there a lot of Delorean time machines and Batmobile replicas that were built without permission? Why would anyone need to ask permission to build an auto bot replica?
The biggest failure is the wheel base. It tooks nothing for anyone to nitice that the tank is much shorter than the movie truck. And it looks like a 1.90m super hero's waist were cut missing, and you put two body parts left together. And that is the biggest, worst and maybe the only failure of this replica truck that matters.
@@kentjackson9721 actually the fuel tanks on our replica are exactly the same size as the movie version. You are correct the wheel base of our truck is a bit longer, and that's because we chose a bigger cab and sleeper size 🙌
With all the problems to solve lack photos and lack of details not everything have gone as plan I sure the real one have the same problems. do not have all the time in the world to get it perfect. running against the clock. as any good build dose is simply GO FOR IT and HOPE FOR THE BEST AND PREPAIR FOR THE WROST..
