- Amber Heard's attorney told jurors in her defamation trial against Johnny Depp that the actor's legal team is trying to mislead them from the truth in the case and they will focus on the evidence. The attorney explained to jurors what Depp has to prove during his case in order to establish defamation --- that the words were used about him and are false.

Here's what we've got so far:
1) Johnny wasn't the only alcoholic and drug abuser. Amber drank 2 bottles of wine a day, and took plenty of drugs as well by her own admission.
2) Amber caught lying about using a specific line of Milani makeup that didn't exist back then to cover her bruises frequently, which was refuted by the company itself.
3) Amber caught lying again about never playing a guitar, when there is video footage of her doing so.
4) Amber has past DV arrest against her ex, admitted to DV against Johnny, suspicion of DV against her own sister (her sister was discussing it with her friends by the poolside in a video clip), and assaulted her ex-best friend in public. In contrast, Johnny has no history of being violent towards women, and his ex-spouses all speak highly of him.
5 Audio recording of Amber admitting to cutting Johnny's finger in Australia (not allowed in this trial due to technicalities), proving again that her testimony was a lie.
6) Amber's "expert" witness Dawn Hughes:
A) Read extensively off her notes but had perfect recollection about all the "abuse" incidents
B) Lied about Amber having no DV history and was caught out by Johnny's lawyer.
C) Only used male pronouns for abusers and female pronouns for victims.
D) Appeared very personally invested in the case while strongly pushing the agenda that Johnny was the abuser (As opposed to Dr Curry, who just gave her diagnosis of Amber).
E) Lists on her website that she testifies in court for a fee.
F) Rolled her eyes when she was objected, and displayed unprofessional body language.
G) Passed off her claims as fact although her entire testimony was based on what Amber told her, and not her actually being there (she also never met Johnny before).
7) Amber has NO witnesses or evidence (all conveniently random strangers that she doesn't know or deceased people like the bodyguard).
8) DV lawyers analyzing the case said Amber's broken nose is fake and doesn't look like any of the countless injuries they've seen, and it's impossible to cover the swelling and bruising with makeup. Her "busted lip" also looks like she bit it, instead of being split open like it should be.
9) Multiple body language experts, including one that formerly worked with the FBI and CIA, say that Amber shows multiple signs of deception.
10) Amber allegedly got hit multiple times, her scalp and hair ripped off, penetrated by a bottle, dragged over broken glass and got her arms and legs "pretty cut up", then somehow felt safe enough to take sleeping pills with her "attacker" in the same house, and woke up the next day and made him coffee. The other people in the audio recording the next morning did not mention, or appear concerned, about her alleged horrific injuries. Amber also allegedly got her nose broken and hit multiple times (hard enough to damage a bed), then went to James Corden's show the next day miraculously healed. Hair stylist and makeup people saw no signs of abuse. No marks, no scars, no pictures, no medical reports in both cases.
11) Multiple witnesses (including 3 cops) saw no signs of abuse.
12) Amber claimed she wanted to leave Johnny, but in all the audio clips she was the one begging him to stay. She even violated her own restraining order to meet him.
13) Amber claimed she always tried to de-escalate, but in audio clips she was always the aggressor preventing Johnny from leaving and taunting him. Her exact words: "You run away every single fight." Sure sounds like what an abuser does. She also acted afraid of Johnny in court and backed away from him, contrary to her prior behaviour.
14) Amber allegedly feared for her life, but bought Johnny a large knife.
15) Amber allegedly hated Johnny's drinking problem and wanted to help him quit, but drank in front of him all the time. She also poured him a glass of wine daily.
16) Amber was completely different in her 2016 deposition, where she was cold, arrogant and smirking.
17) Amber publicly lied that she had already donated her divorce money to a children's hospital (and the ACLU, but nobody cares about them because they're co-conspirators with her). On the other hand, Johnny donated $100k.
18) Amber pooped on the bed of a person that allegedly made her "fear for her life", blamed the pet, but later admitted it was a practical joke.
19) Amber claimed she did not want money, but demanded 14 million tax free or threatened Johnny with abuse claims. Her friends also lived at Johnny's penthouses rent free.
20) In the UK trial that Johnny lost, the judge had a family member working in the Sun, there was no jury, Amber was taken at her word and not cross-examined, and key witnesses and evidence that would have helped Johnny was not allowed t0 be presented (eg. cops).
21) Amber includes a lot of redundant but intricate details, which is a technique liars employ to make their accounts seem more believable. Eg. the "beautiful parquet flooring".
22) Amber claims Johnny abused her because he called her "Officer Square Head".
23) Amber claimed Johnny was jealous and controlling of her roles and attire, but was photographed in revealing outfits including see-through tops without underwear underneath.
24) Amber accused Johnny of cheating, but was caught on camera bringing James Franco and Elon Musk home at night while Johnny was away (also verified by the doorman). Her psychologist witness Dawn Hughes labelled them as intimate relations.
25) Amber violated the Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) after the marriage, discussed privately with the ACLU (who she also lied and promised to donate to, but did not, which is karma) about how to phrase the op-ed to skirt around the NDA, while very clearly indicating the article was referring to Johnny, then lying about it afterwards. All that eventually led to this trial.
26) Fits Dr Curry's assessment of her multiple mental disorders:
A) Overly dramatic and embellishment - The way he allegedly beat her up was like a scene from the Avengers.
B) Flowery language - "He was the love of my life," "It felt like a warm glow".
C) Lacks actual substance - "He beat me and I thought oh the carpet is dirty. There was mashed potato on the wall and my dog stepped on a bee, but oops I don't remember if I threw the bottle at him."
D) Mimicking - Copied Johnny's outfits every day during trial, as well as Dr Curry's hairstyle.
E) Needy and needs approval - Audio of her refusing to let Johnny leave.
F) Sense of shallowness - Facial expression changes in 0.5s whenever Camille objection stunlocked her.
G) Externalization of blame - Never takes accountability for anything and paints herself as an angel.
H) Deep seated anger and abuse of partners - DV.
I) Manipulation and self-centered - Gaslighting: "Look what you made me do Johnny!"
J) Fear of abandonment - Audio in Australia post finger accident of her crying and afraid that it's over between her and Johnny.
K) Make a lot of accusations when feeling slighted - Threatens with restraining order and abuse claims after Johnny wants to leave her.
L) Makes threats with legal system to keep partner from leaving - Threatens with restraining order and abuse claims after Johnny wants to leave her.
This about sums it up! I agree and the worse part of all is she actually thinks she’s the victim. She is trying to prove points that can’t be proven. I also thought it really weird when she said she was head-butted that all she could think was “he had nothing in his hands why didn’t he use his hands”..I could be paraphrasing, but who in the world would think that?

27) Amber took Johnny's dogs in the divorce, and then gave them to her father, a man who was convicted of felony animal abuse in Texas after he killed seven dogs in a dog fighting ring
She signed a nondisclosure agreement stating that she would not decimate his name and his image and that is exactly what she did to him

amber heard’s “bruise marks” near her upper cheek bone is from botox. i know this because after getting botox your face will appear red and bruised after the first few days. secondly, when she went to a runway, fans took pictures with her and saw that her knuckles were ripped up like she just punched something, or someone. People need to understand that Johnny Depp hasn’t had any other former complaints from any of his exes except for being verbally abusive when he was intoxicated. he shows constant love and support for his fans and kids, and is a gentleman to women. During this trial i’ve seen many disturbing things as well as amber heard’s pattern whenever she takes the stand. whenever there was a close up, there was no tears visible on her face. she over exaggerates her facial expressions and uses ptsd “twitches” at random times, when it’s inappropriate to use. for example when she stated on the stand “my dog stepped on a bee” she had a traumatic twitch.

So the article states that Hollywood protected a certain man who Amber Heard states abused her over the past few years. Considering she spoke out against Johnny Depp during that time, and she and Johnny Depp work in Hollywood, I think the article is unambiguously referring to Johnny Depp as a domestic abuser, and thus is perfectly within the realm of a defamation lawsuit...so long as the jury doesn't believe Amber's abuse claims, which I dearly, dearly hope they call bullcrap on. Trying to make a trial about defamation/libel into a "1st amendment" issue is just more petty theatrics.
But the article didn't mention his name and even if it was about him Heard is executing her 1st Amendment rights. There was evidence presented that BOTH were abused.
Funny how the trial has unfolded considering Rottenborns opening statement and predictions as to what JD's team would do.

I'd just like to say, that "me too" should be a open movement. That also accepts women can be the abuser. How ever, where male abusers usually turn into down right turds that are kinda obviously an issue, female abusers usually go into behavior like we are seeing throughout this trial. I regret to say that it's also not the first case I've seen where women try to use men for some type of gain or revenge plot and it is disturbing. And I am happy a case of the sort is now on blast. Because there should be awareness, acceptance and all of that noise for all genders. The masculine side of a situation isn't always the bad side, let's not forget that masculinity is a huge and daunting expectation of our society from men that are slapped in the face by nothing but unrealistic expectations in a world where prices keep rising and wages don't keep up.
Our society has many issues, at least this trial might balance the field a bit by making us realize we are equal and we need to keep an open mind.

We hate her cause she could have left if this was going on, she could have called cops and gave proof of bruises as soon as may 21st just like she recorded him after getting him mad and making sure she interrupted him every time he had something to say about her. She made sure she was clean on the recording, if she recorded all of that she wasn’t so scared and afraid. She doesn’t have pictures or proof of anything she says but she would film him.
Actually being in a abusive relationship is pretty tough. There are times when you can't call anyone for help or choose to leave...

So it’s unbelievable that she doesn’t have any photos that prove the abusive and violent behavior towards her unless it has never happened. Not a single one. You can make up anything but if there is no evidence, it remains untrue. Johnny was the only one who was seen with real injuries. Everyone else stated that there wasn’t a mark on her face. So yeah she is a liar.
If you listen to the recordings pay attention to her interrupting every single time he tríes to say anything about her.

This lawyer needs to take a refresher course on the law. There's no first amendment violation here. First amendment only applies towards the government not people or businesses.
While this is true, I bet he knows and is actively ignoring that. Because even though he said that this "isn't a mud slinging fight" that's exactly what our jury system is. It's which side can convince the jury that they're right. And out constitutional rights are the most frequently misunderstood yet fiercely protected piece of our country. So saying that, this is about the first amendment, ooh boo hoo it's getting violated, instantly you look like the victim in most Americans eyes.

Except from the government not individuals or businesses. So no one is stopping her from saying whatever she wants. She has to be prepared for potential consequences of her speech.

Ben Rottenborn is one of the worst attorneys I've seen, he should be removed because her case is going down just because of him. The proof shown might be misleading and fabricated, but that is another story. In an unbiased view of this case, I'd say both were under the influence, either pills, alcohol or drugs, but the one doing damage to the other was Amber. So the abuser was Amber. It doesn't matter that she suffered from abuse before in this case. She should get psychiatric assistance, that is all.

Is it not essentially the same thing in this case? From Johnny standpoint, if he can prove he was not the abuser, then the article she wrote about him being one, which has clearly defamed him, will then be the evidence he needs to win.
They are only just deciding to switch there narrative, because he legal team recently let go, probably weren’t expecting her lies to be so extensive and his testimony to be so Credible. Now she has a new legal team, and there like okay, let’s go another way.

After hearing and witnessing his alleged behaviors while drinking there may be some real truth about her abuse allegations.
She's really hated and despised among his fans and the cruel media however she could have been abused. I escaped DV and recognize allot of the same behaviors from myself and my ex who eventually murdered his next victim.

Taking someone to court and forcing them to look at u over and over again and making details of your relationship into public knowledge and legal evidence is a form of abuse.
